Какой мудрый народ ! Как много взято в танце и образе от повадок животных, где голова самки всегда отличается украшением , движения мягкие , но при этом очень достойные уверенные. Какое чувство юмора у обоих партнёров , но при этом энергия большой доброты и заботы к друг другу. Никто не пытается доминировать , наверное потому что сила полов очень правильно распределена . Эстетическое удовольствие ,да и только!

@@movingnow3041 Thank you. I haven't cried for her yet but I think it's because she and my grandfather have reunited in the spirit. They were always together. Childhood friends and highschool sweethearts. He knew that he would not survive without her and so he went before her. Now they are together. I'm not as sad as I thought that I would be. She was a huge influence in my life.

This dance is sacred to the Samoan people, and traditionally, only virgins were allowed to perform it. Nowadays, it's done at every party as the quote on quote FINALE of a celebration. The oil symbolizes a young woman purity.
