Dude I really want to and I've always had it on my list. It just feels so definitive! Because I'm always picking up more. Maybe at the end of the year I'll make one and stipulate like "This is just as of 12/31/24!" lol
Thanks to your erd coverage, I got into the brand and purchased the AW23 opium den jacket. Lot of the stuff is polarizing, but the quality and effort into these garments are amazing
One thing to note - Henri is vocal about creating things he wants in his every day life. The dog collar would be a blend of the ethos of the brand and his love for his dog
Probably unintentional but the collar in the leather bag kinda vaguely resembles a condom in a wrapper. Tangentially related, Have you heard of the brand Kidill? They're a Japanese brand doing that sort of Vivienne-Westwood style punk and grunge, kinda like a version of LGB, Hysteric Glamour, etc for the modern era. A lot of their stuff is on sale in the few stores that carry them online atm (managed to cop a £400 sweater for £120) and it's the type of stuff that very much reminds me of your style (though more extreme sometimes). Could be something interesting to check out for the future.
If you're out and about and someone asks you what ERD stands for, will you not be embarrassed to say depressed rich kids? It's just so hackneyed and jejune.
@@StCloud-ns7vt while not irrelevant, if someone’s opinion of a brand begins and ends with their judgement of the brand name, I think their assessment would have to be considered so surface-level as to be beneath consideration. There are worse brand names in the space and there are better ones. Doesn’t really change my estimation one way or the other.
What's the ERD resale market like nowadays? Judging by the sheer number of reps both chinese and western buyers are interested, has that affected the real stuff at all?
@@xx-----------xx873 it’s insane. I always thought that there was a delta between what “real people” were paying and what archive/resellers were trying to charge, but I think that gap is narrowing. As both a buyer and seller, I can say that the prices just keep going up on average.
Excuse the pedantry, but 9:54 is the only one I'd disagree with: p sure it's a reference to Badlands (the Malick film) when Kit gets arrested -- tho you could argue it's somewhat related. So more on the American Western influences, as opposed to his Japanese k*nk ones.
@@burkebyrne8738 Fair! Love when a new reference gets pointed out. I haven’t seen badlands since I was mainlining all the film nerd classics in my late teens, so it didn’t ring the bell for me!
Would love a vid showing you whole ERD collection

It’s why the ❄️ spoon necklace is so useful for a night out
Punk and dogs are an undisociable combo here in France lol
Ha punk a chien

I have heard of them! And yes also noticed it can be quite affordable, comparatively. I would like to review them at some point, for sure.
The jackets really puts all of this together 😍
The dudes face on that long sleeve you were wearing was my reaction to seeing all these crazy pieces
Kinky western aesthetic is undefeated
@@StevensVidz lmaooo love it
Just missing the ERD cowboy hat. One of the best fits. The patina on the jacket is unreal.
Thank you! RIP to the big man, thanks 4 tha jacket
the market for ERD kills me these days. so hard to get anything for reasonable prices on the aftermarket.
