I agree. Most of the kills are because of a mistake caused by flying style, so seeing someone else fly the aircraft they are less likely to fly it the same way.
I think the F-16 gunfight type might be more physically demanding in some aspects, namely the pilot is squeezed much harder into the seat for much longer. Here the G forces are less extreme in magnitude and shorter (but also much more chaotic).

Unless you're actually going to try to make the case the F/A-18 is also stealth...? Also having a radar that can reach up to 80km doesn't defeat stealth. The F-15E's radar has a range of over 100 miles (185km) and even it struggles to detect an F-22 within 30 miles (48km), which is, if you're high-up (as you likely will be in the initial engagement) dangerously close to the MAR of an AIM-120D. Honestly, lots of people like to point out how these are not accurate, which is not entirely true because we don't know the true figures of the rates of these aircraft. Great video. Really enjoyed it, especially as it shows (as they say in Top Gun 2), it's the pilot not the plane. This really emphasizes that you can compare two aircraft on paper and assess that one is better than another, but what happens in actual combat with skilled pilots is much less predictable.
Amazing Missiles. Assuming DCS has them modelled accurately (and they do seem to be), those are very deadly. It's a hoot watching them do a 180+ turn and in the case of your last shot, it took another severe turn to hit the target. With any separation those things are scary ... but fun to watch. Thanks again.

7:35 The Raptor kinda seems to continue its maneuver while the Flanker stops dead in mid-air. That explains a lot, especially the fact that he loses speed so fast after the first turn

never seen a plane intentionally fly backwards XD and looks like the raptor was totally fine in the last fight. an f-15 can also land with a missing wing XD
In fact, everything is much simpler, even in an interview with the Su-57 pilot, Bogdan said that they know very well that Dogfights are very rare nowadays. But if you can have super maneuverability then why not? It's better to have than not to have. And yes, apparently they are also trying to increase their BVR capabilities.
