Weirdly.. watching you guys parent Ottie in such a loving, meaningful way is actually helping and teaching me to learn how to re-parent and value myself now at age 36. Having not had very present parents when I was young. I don’t think I could ever tell you and Zoe how much you’ve done for me in the last 10ish years. I know there will come a day we won’t see as much of Ottie, but for now I’m soaking them all in. I don’t have any littles in my life at the moment so I’m really enjoying watching her preciousness. ❤

Guys you’re doing SUCH an epic job with Ottie. Honestly she is bursting with personality and is such a kind and polite little human already. My eldest is 3 weeks older than Ottie and I just love watching them go through the same stages at the same time. This is by far the best bit! 🩷

Although there are certainly some aspects of parenting I would do differently when/if I ever become a parent, I very much appreciate how you're showing our generation (same generation by the way - also a similar-age millenial) that it is possible to raise our children differently to how we (or at least, some of us) were raised - without resorting to screaming, shouting, spanking and intimidating. No style of parenting will ever be "perfect", but you are raising your daughter in a way which I am sure she will always feel that her parents are her safe space and are the people she can always come to for support if she needs it, rather than being people whose reactions and judgement she fears - that is the best gift and reassurance you can ever give your child ❤
