i dont mean to be so off topic but does someone know a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid lost the login password. I would love any tips you can offer me!
I watch these every night and I'm definitely getting better. I haven't had time to play much lately but I've adopted your way of thinking logically about the position and applying your ideas to each move. Only 1000 elo though 😂
Danya's Frankfurt Airport example is funny because if you think about what it implies: "(Na3) Frankfurt is bad to be in, but we can go elsewhere." [but it is a good analogy....]
One of the best videos I have seen on explaining each move and clear ideas 👍 even giving opportunity for us to guess the best move. Really good stuff Danya 👍🙏
Idk I started around the queens gambit at like 600. I’m at 1400s right now too. Tbh I could have done it quicker but I have school but my tip would be that you play unrated games as you get a bunch of 1900-2200 people on occasion and so you get stronger players to learn from. lol I got accused of cheating today thoogh by this 1950 I beat twice. She beat me 9 times so idk what she was accusing me for tbh, I just watch Danya and play.
Just a nice alternative sequence of moves I came up for the end of the game sacrificing the queen: instead of Rg7 you play Qh7 sacrificing the queen, Qxh7 f7+, then if Bg7 f8=Q Qg8 Bxg7+ Kh7 Qf5+ Kh6 Qg6# and if Qg7 f8=Q Kh7 (queen is pinned) Rxg7+ Bxg7 Qxg7# I didn't analyse with the engine so I might have missed something. But if I didn't then it's a beautiful forsed mate
I hear Daniel talk about type of undefended pieces, but I haven't been able to find the explanation. Can someone lay out the types of undefended pieces? Thanks!
Thanks a lot Daniel. that was a real Video for the Chess Payers. The other great Masters Like Nakamura are just earning Money, and they dont care about us to learn chess or not. but this Video form you was the best ever. and i hope you continuer like this. Thanks one more time.
@@Amoeba_Podre For Example: last week h joined the game with another GMs just for money, and took the chance from another new GMs to qualify themselves for joninig with the expert GMs. he said himself that he jonined just for cash. that is very foolishfull to take the chance from another just for cash.
@@Noshdaru lol all of this is about money, what are you talking about? If you want to blame someone, blame chess.com which didn't make any rule to prevent this. Obviously they didn't make it because hikaru=more money for them. So this is normal
@@Amoeba_Podre yes. i am not against earning Money thoug chess. but just to earn money an take because of this the chance from another new GMs is not fair. the other GMs could als join the game with another new GMs. but the had the Logic and were good for another GMs. Like alireza and Daniel. That is why i say, that hikaru ist not a good GM in chess. He is just a man that erans money and dont care about the others.
at 17:47 by placing the rook at F5 good move and white winning chances are good hi daniel if u have moment just keep your view on it i like to listen am i right or wrong
7:26 I'd protect my Bishop with my a file Rook and sack my other Rook and take the knight. And he will take it with his Bishop, now the h5 is free, I can slide my Queen there and think of a checkmate pattern. Queen to h5 is threatening and the King is cutted off by a stupid Rook and pawn wall so if you can open that bishop's view to H7 square that would be a nice checkmate. Maybe I'm just over thinking .
Danya: "What do we do with the a3 knight?" Me: "Well, your Freudian slip tells me knight a3, but I have no idea why." Edit: I understand a bit more now 😁 Edit2: I had my mind blown at least 3 times this video
These masters have built the capability to constantly pose three treths and juggle around until the opponent gets cought in one of them, all the while fending off a treth or two while preventing another one from even happening. This is deffenetially something im building. Memorizing classical patterns for most played openings and periods of game when to go for them. Something really advanced like queen defending two peaces and attacking another one at the same time is still beyond me, but for sure those quiate moves where you block their pawn, or lure it out or redeploying a peace out of the possible attack have already started to pay of, as well as sometimes using a bishop at an outpost it doesnt always have to stay back do get better. And so on. One od the things for sure coming is to keep doing your best as opponenets get better and mate them on move 35 like this game, instead of gunning for mate on like move 23 as we use more and more details in our game
Danya is calculating more than he admits, then everything looks simple. That mate attempt could have backfired easily without deep calculation and I think that's why Danya's videos are misleading in general. He does the same over-simplified explanations for moves he chooses for every game at every ELO, as if principled play without calculation just works out which is not true.
You are just playing like a GM all the time, I don’t really get the “from beginner to master” any more. Are we supposed to find those dazzling tactics you come up with every game? Because I am pretty sure I can’t do that. This is just not a level that is reachable for everyone.
What tactics? :p I hope you don't mean those little things like Nxf7 or h4 cuz calling them with that big word feels a little stretch. And yes, if you don't play dull chess you have stuff like that avaiable to you in every second game at worst. You have to start finding those, otherwise you won't improve. For sure you can, just start believing. It isn't that hard. Danya's tactics also aren't anything extraordinary - just normal 2k stuff. I'm 2,4k on sucky lichess and immediately knew f4 is a poor move (not even referring to Nxh7 or h4). Didn't know why, but my spider senses went off - I felt you had to try preparing it - and I could bet a house it was a bad move, so I turned on engine. Stockfish takes a moment, but agrees at the end. He played f4 for instructive purposes because it's the move that 2k and under would play. Most obvious move. I suspect he wouldn't play it against other GM, it was just for audience. Explaining why it wasn't great in that particular case would be too much hassle and above aimed rating. Pointing that out to show you he doesn't play on 100% mode. Sure, he tries playing best moves 90-95% of the time, but he tries as well to cut off most complex stuff. So keep it in mind - if there is a tactic seriously above aimed 2k Danya acts like it doesn't exist. Otherwise he executes.
you're quoting yourself in the titles now lol, Danya continues to slip into his own hubris from finding mild success Twitch. I also get "I worship Jordan Peterson" vibes from him.

Those moments when kasparov just comes out through the profit Danya I die laughing. 17:19 | So funny omg

Danya thank you so much for doing these I started playing chess because of covid and in 4 months I've gone from 800 to nearly 1500
How did you improved so fast. I was at 400 since covid now at 1400 wondering if you have any tips

I love this series!! Thanks for sharing!!
Nice instructional, i am going to watch more of you for sure!
instead of Qe2 at 5:19 i was thinking Qb3 would be a pretty cheeky idea to pin the black f pawn and threaten Nxg6.
Danya's opponent had to choose between the greater or lesser evil.
*That's not very witcher of you Danya*
at 6:02 i say white goes bishop b5 if you're into chaos theory
at 7:05 it still stands as a fun move GM dn! bishop b5
and at @8:09 he knights' it in the bud... how in hindsight do you think Grand Master DN
this bishop b5 for fun would rate if you tried it? :P
i think at 17:47 there we come back and white wins easily by plcing the rook f5 attacking the queen through that white gain more attack power also
Just a nice alternative sequence of moves I came up for the end of the game sacrificing the queen: instead of Rg7 you play Qh7 sacrificing the queen, Qxh7 f7+, then if Bg7 f8=Q Qg8 Bxg7+ Kh7 Qf5+ Kh6 Qg6# and if Qg7 f8=Q Kh7 (queen is pinned) Rxg7+ Bxg7 Qxg7# I didn't analyse with the engine so I might have missed something. But if I didn't then it's a beautiful forsed mate
20:30 its not checkmate either cause queen can block and force possible trade of queens
Rook on f8 is hanging, so after queen captures, Qg8 is black's only move followed by Qxg8#.
Daniel ur wicked man
dismantling masters like they're nothing, sheesh
I hear Daniel talk about type of undefended pieces, but I haven't been able to find the explanation. Can someone lay out the types of undefended pieces? Thanks!
Type 1 is a completely undefended piece I think, type 2 is a piece that is not defended by a pawn.
Great game!
