No doubt the man is a legend, and even though he made a mistake on the name, Philthy Rich (The song was called was Playa Haters and the artist was Filthy Phil from Richmond CA), 40 conex w/Philthy Phil outta Seminary, East Oakland so much he just mixed the names. All love.

The term player BEEN a word in the bay but honestly the first time I heard it. It was originally coined by filthy phil from Richmond Ca. On the song "Player Hater" dude got pulled over & ended up shooting a officer. As crazy as THAT sounds he dropped the album "The Manhunt" while he was on the run.

Yupppp the izzle rap first appeared on Oakland based rapper seagram's song "Straight Mobbin". They implemented the izzle at the end of words in they rap/phone conversations to throw off the feds that may be recording them.
