E-40 deserves more recognition then he gets, This man is definitely a Top 5 trendsetter in Hip hop, Like 40 mentioned he was responsible for so much slang in Hip hop, Also E-40 was one of the first independent rappers in Hip hop and he showed Master P and other rappers the independent game, Fun facts E-40 and The Click was the first Family group in Hip hop, Also E-40 music charted The Top 200 Billboard more then anyone other rapper in Hip hop history, Give this man his flowers Hip hop.
The way his brain works needs to be studied some day. The way he just matter of factly talks about his slang here is so funny.
I’ll forever be entertained by how 40 has always dropped the wildest sentences as if everybody in the world should know exactly what he means 😂 like even he was real young he said it with such conviction that listeners would feel dumb for not understanding words they never heard before
Facts. I would argue that he (and also Short) started, or at least made famous/popular the whole "shizzle, izzle" deal. Rapper's Ball - E-40 ft Too Short & either KC or JoJo (I forget which one lol).
Oh damn...40 said exactly what I just commented lol. That'll teach me to comment before finishing the clip.
@@JahRandom The homie Too Short (early 1980's) is the Godfather of Bay Area rap. From 75 Girls, to Dangerous Music, to Jive, to Up All Nite, Empire, EMI. Lets give Short dog his flowers now and later.
E 40 music is straight trash
"Why motherf*ckers can't be broke sometimes?
Sometimes it's cool to floss
But don't buy an eighty-five thousand dollar car
Before you buy a house" - E 40

E-40 is truly one of the greatest, one aspect I’ll always admire is he’s not for everyone but those that get it, LOVE it.

Quarterbackin is my favorite E40 slang
All of these men are major legends
All 4
thats why they named a mountain after them 🤓
What is the definition of legend?
@@thetruthhurtsu lol nobody cares to entertain your hater question
@@snoopbell1 what you meant to dribble through your fingers is that they can’t define “legend” and if they go to google, the numbers don’t add up LOL😂. Now be a good little BellBoy and run get me a swisher and Pepsi Biii
Man, I can listen to these 4 chop it up for hours.
I'm from Detroit. And Sir 40 water don't even understand how his swag and presentation of some slang ungh changed the game. Tell Me When To Go. That shit took on a whole meaning of its own, and that wasn't even technically slang. But when that song dropped. Around here, if you say TELL ME WHEN TO GO! Then somebody say Go! Hot Damn, some Wild ass world star shit about to pop off. #E-40 #UNDERRATEDLEGEND #TOPTENFROMBEGINNINGTOEND
Cube didn't come up with the saying break you off something! He better check his self before he wreck his self 😂😂😂
Who said it before Cube?
@@KtotheG Master P!!!
@@thomasbooker1996 LMAO! Cube been saying it since the late '80s. P came out in the mid '90s. If anything, he probably got it from just being a Cali nigga... because I never heard no East Coast or Southern saying that before him.
@@KtotheG my boy with no disrespect your not a hip-hop historian you can't tell me nothing!!!!
@@thomasbooker1996 M aster P got it from Cube. Cube first said it back in '91 on the song US.
E40 changed the game

E40 and bayarea people really like bigging themselves up on slang that no one including their own cities use. You throw 100 things at the wall and one sticks..... Congratulations
Na we def use some of his words bunch of times everyday. E40 is just a product of the bay and vice versa. U listen to pimps talk, they all talk slick and create slang. E40 is a product of that. Hes an og for sure. If we listen we could learn from this man
bay area created all the slang and phrases , hella , lit , slap , cattin , fire , go crazy , on mamas....... it goes on and on LA just love to swagger jack our shit first and claim it. then the rest of the country
E40 worst rapper ever to stand behind Nicki Minaj!
E40 has what? 756 (sarcasm) Albums out and not one is a classic.
Snoop has one classic, Warren G has one classic, even shitty rappers like Ice T and Too Short have a classic and yet E40 got a gang of albums and not one classic. That’s actually a shame! What that means is that he was more worried about quantity over quality. Peace!✌🏽
Updated: also Spice 1 got a classic maybe 2.
Ice cube got numerous classic albums even though he was just a studio gangster.
Dogg Pound got a classic album.
DJ Quick got numerous classics.
MC Eiht got a classic
Domino has a classic
No classics? Man you tripping and want some attention.
This dude said peace and he's trying to start a war. Bad take my guy
In the words of 40, muh fuccaz listen too slow…FOH bruh
