Strongly Disagree I learned a lot in these 20 minutes and appreciated her balanced approach. Seems more relatable to me then others I've heard on here

@@Sara-ur8tt What did you learn? Exactly what hormones?

@@DaPokeBoss I learned a lot actually! More than anything this urged me to "test rather than guess" because right now I am trying so many things. I also related to her when she said she overexcersided and tried diet trends but when she started nourishing her body and slowing down is when things helped. I also liked how she didn't make me feel bad about being on BC- I am looking to get off of it but appreciated her not demonizing it. Would love a longer episode!

@@Sara-ur8tt So you didn’t actually learn anything about science, she just appealed to your emotions?

@@DaPokeBoss I listen to these Dear Media dalies often-they are 20 minute episodes so I never expect a long scientific episode. I learned about estrogen and cortisol and thyroid and learned that I should get bloodwork and work with a doctor because "hormones are individual". It is clear this girl has been impacted herself and is cautious about making strong claims and causing food fears and health obsession which is something me and many other women on these apps deal with. Thank you Dear Media for bringing her on!
