Yes but he made me shift maybe 1k-500 revs earlier cuz he said it was pointless for a twin-turbo car to push it all the way to the limiter. Idk in my opinion though

About 35 years ago, I was lucky enough to own a 308 GTS. It was my absolute dream car at the time. As great as that experience was, this video shows clearly how much things have changed in 35 years. This 488 is worlds better than my old 308. What a machine this new car is!

Beh con un 488 Pista ed un test drive tra le colline modenesi come fai a non scendere felice …. Bravo bella guida, ho notato che il co-pilota vicino a te è stato molto gentile e ti ha fatto sfruttare a pieno i Cv della 488. Se dovessi ritornare da Pushstart chiederò di lui.

I drove the 488 GTB 670hp in 2018 at PushStart M. Very similar car although the Pista is more extreme. Best experience.
No wonder they're building such great road cars. They have some of the best streets surrounding them...

Vabbè stupendo, io ancora non ci credo che esiste un test drive dove veramente si può fare test drive, da parte tua guida spinta ma sempre ragionata, non ti sei mai fatto prendere troppo le mano e non hai mai esagerato, bravissimo, così si fanno provare ste macchine, mi fa rabbia che in pista ti fanno fare un installation lap senza l’utilizzo dei cordoli, almeno tu ti sei divertito qui
Avevo le lacrime agli occhi, è stata l'esperienza migliore della mia vita. Sì, te la fanno spingere e tutto però 1100 euro per un'ora sono davvero tanti...

buonasera. mi rendo conto che portare a velocità codice una macchina del genere è praticamente impossibile constatato il fatto che il bolide ha limiti di tenuta davvero incredibili ma si è esagerato con velocità anche nei centri cittadini ben oltre i 100km\h. esempio da non seguire pur considerando la passione che una macchina del genere genera.

I was hoping to surprise my boyfriend with a gift of test driving one of these when we go to Italy but now that I’m watching these videos of y’all’s experience I’m terrified of something going wrong 😩.
Regarding the video, you seem to have good driving skills also good at taking direction. My boyfriend is a car enthusiast so I want him to be able to have the experience, so hopefully he has this guy as an instructor.

Io non mi prenderei mai la responsabilità di far girare chiunque per strada con una 488, sono dei matti. Comunque con te gli va bene si vede che sei accorto anche se nei centri urbani avrei rallentato di più 👍🏼
Più che altro è abbastanza da criminali far guidare la gente in questa maniera fregandosene completamente del codice della strada. Ma la colpa non è del pilota ma di quello pseudo istruttore. Andate in pista piuttosto che mettere in pericolo la gente.

I've been to Maranello a couple times and I didn't even know they had hills like these. I thought it was all flat because of the Po river valley. How far is this from Maranello itself?
Maranello is half flat and half hilly, this was towards the "southern" part I think. It's actually not that far off
Nice one! Why weren't you pushing to rev limiter more often ? I know that he said "cambio" for shifting but aren't you allow to like rev the car and for example put in race mode at least ?
You are sadly not allowed to push the RPM to the red, & the manitino is in Wet mode, but otherwise, you are very free to drive the car as you want 👍👍 but driving a car that costs 400.000 euros makes you think twice about certian things! But the experience is just great! :)
Let me clarify, the manettino was in sports mode, the reason he told me not to push it to the very limiter is because he said that there's no point to shift at redline for a turbo car

They say that the italian police detecting a car driving over an uninterrupted middleline and driving too fast is very forgiving when it is for example a Ferrari. I don't know if that is true, but i like the idea.
