Great Video, Very Informative and the step by step makes it easy
Great 👍 video! Helped a lot! Thanks 🤘🤘 you guys rock!
Yes it protects the body you just drilled full of holes and paintbrushed so that it can hold moisture between the panels and rot out instead of getting a dent
I’m getting these corner guards for Christmas from a friend and had a question about the optional fender. Is that the only fender that can be fitted on top of the guards? I was curious because I’m only getting the back guards and not the optional fender or matching front fenders so could I put the fender I have now on the guards? They are the stock Tj fenders btw. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
The barricade brand corner guards are the same but cheaper. Remember you don't have to disconnect the wiring on the passenger rear light and remove the plastic inner fender wells held on by push pins so get extra.
I’m guessing it beats doing bodywork to get rid of rust, when you can grind it off, apply stop rust, then these protectors
Gee can one use vinegar and used steel wool to exasperate the iron oxide.
So how do you get to the bolt next to the tail gate hinge? Its behind the evaporation box I believe.
So no seal behind it? No caulk used to keep moisture or liquid from dripping behind the guard and the body of the Jeep?
I was thinking the same thing. Depending where you live, those rear quarter panels will rust if exposed to high moisture and/or salt. I was thinking tig welding them to the quarter panel
I keep thinking about all the crap that will get stuck behind those covers over the years.
Hey Adam if memory serves me correct I had to drill a hole with a hole saw -1 inch and put a wrench in there to hold nut. Hope this helps.
Alright Morris 4x4... Watched your video, got all charged up! Bought the same guards, got all the way through EXCEPT for 1 darn bolt. In your video, you don't show the passenger side install. :-( The bolt on the passenger side, very back, just LEFT of the tail light... Any recommendations on how to get to the backside of that hole? I mean, it's drilled, deburred and painted. But man, that's a doozie. Words of wisdom would be much appreciated!
Will after market flares work? Like bushwaker flat fenders ?
How much of a lift is on this jeep? Thanks!
nice and sweet jeep tj but i hate body lift
That poor jeep
Hahahahaha if only it would be that straight forward or better yet ... the part being straight would be great. Just got mine and the are bowed to crap and not 2 holes match.. very disappointed
Poor jeep
