I remember when this aired. The (first) Iraq War had just started up back then, hence Donnie's shirt. I was watching this with my mom. She was not impressed with the language used. This performance struck me so much that I wrote about it in my diary...but then, so did most things New Kids! I still have that diary somewhere at my parents' house. I think I might have even written about that "...still kickin' ass!" line.

JLO is the chick right in the front when they do the closeup. I remember this. So it would make sense that she linked up w/Keenan at the AMA's and became a FT dancer on In Livin' Color. Ur network definitely determines your net worth. It's all about your relationships.
Seoul Goode Jennifer lopez def. had skills as a dancer, and later as an actor and singer. But I agree, you are right. She must of had some connections or a very good talent agent to get her all these "little" gigs that would eventually lead her to being the highest paid latina actress in Hollywood only 6 years later. But you have to remember, she was in a movie back when she was still in high school, and when she was 18-21 years old, she was doing musicals in europe and japan, which I am sure she got paid well for. Also, she was on Yo MTV Raps with MC Hammer and and I am sure she appeared in a few rap videos back in the late 80's early 90's. She also was a backup dancer for Janet Jackson's video " that's the way love goes" - and she went on tour with Janet Jackson for a while. So there's your connection to MTV and the Music Business right there. Plus I read that she had a record deal in place along with the other fly girls before leaving in living color to pursue acting.
