You and I've had a similar ADV journey. I took delivery of my MTS V4 Rally last May. It's okay for light offroading, but I wanted a more dedicated off-roader, but wanted to keep the MTS V4 Rally for more long-distance touring. I ended up also buying a Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro. That was an expensive lesson learned. It was just still too heavy for offoading (for me). I traded the Tiger 900 a few months later for a Husqvarna 701 Enduro. I've fully built out my H701 with a full ADV setup, but it only weighs ~350 lbs and has most of the creature comforts of a mid-sized ADV bike - so much more manageable for the type of off-roading riding that I'm doing (BDR type riding).....and yes, I've had to work my ass off for the moto-toys!

lol, you’re going thru bikes faster than the Motojitsu guy. I like it. Congrats and keep up the good work.

Ayyyyy West Slope! I lived in Fruita/GJ from 2016-2020. Love that area! I bought my 2018 MT-07 from All Terrain Motorsports, good people!
I’m currently debating between the rally pro and rally aragon. Better pricing on the aragon, but it’s the old motor and all that. Kind of thinking the lower compression engine may be ideal though, as it’s less strain on the whole motor and can last longer.
How do you feel about the bike after a few months??

Great Bike! While listed as a 2024, some people might not realize the 2024 Tiger 900's are the 2nd gen now and have many updates over the 20-23. But, the 20-23 is a great bike and now you can find some good deals on them, either leftover new ones or pre-owned. Now sure of all the details of the Aragon edition, but it looks nice. I'm leaning towards the 20-23 Tiger 900 or possibly the 850 Sport

Good for you! I'm a new subscriber, I to am from Colorado (Denver), I to am brand new to offroad, and I to just a month ago purchased a new 1290 KTM SAR. This summer I hope to ride the COBDR or perhaps the WYBDR. The WYBDR seems to be a bit easier and not having experience might be the better option for me. Cheers!!!

Do you think it's possible for us to get a software update from the dealer on the old Tiger 900 Rally (Not the Rally Pro) to enable to Offroad Pro mode?

So, basically you sold the Multistrada because it overlaps with a Harley RoadKing? Dude, this is an absolutely weird flex but ok. Congrats for the Tiger, in a year or so you’ll discover the Tenere.

Ironically I’ve been trying to find a used one to turn into a full off road rig. But I may have found an alternative

I have the same bike. It is listed as a Rally, not Rally Pro. It has all the wires and controls, but does NOT come with heated seats. It has all the Pro features except the heated seat. I had to buy a heated seat from Triumph.

A Harley, any Harley, isn’t even on the same planet as a Ducati MTS V4. Really

    I hope that’s not the 2024. The 2024s are a scam😢

      It’s technically a 23 & 1/2 what’s this scam with the 24s you speak of?

@@zeromileadv the 2024 tiger 900s have improved horsepower, gas mileage, rubber damped handle bars, upgraded display along with many other improvements. The 24 Aragon additions didn’t receive any of the 24 updates.. they are really 2023 bikes masquerading
As 2024. If you buy a 2024 Aragon, You’re paying the price of a new bike, but getting the old one.

@@stevehamel1336ya it’s kinda well is a parts bin bike to make a left over production product more attractive. Like the Ducati came out with the gt
I think it was big rock talked about it.
