- I finally finished my castle settlement! I used the orignal castle as a template to place the foundations, I then scrapped every item that was orignally there.(not including the doors that take you into tomb below) I planned to have this place filled with settlers that looked busy, so they would be eating and working ect... but unfortunatley this wasn't possible due to the pathing being nonexistent. I had to use console commands to freeze them in place or they would just teleport to the ground. It kinda ruined the video and made it half as good as it could've been. Now I know to keep my future builds as grounded as possible. Hope you enjoy the tour!

So we're gonna need a detailed hour long walkthrough of this with commentary cause I've never wanted to walk around a settlement more but I don't think my poor Rock of a computer could handle a transfer settlement of this scale 😂😂
Hahah yeah I don’t mind doing commentary whilst showing how I built it, I also want to do a night time tour because it looks great when it’s all lit up.
As for adding it as a ts blueprint, I don’t think it’d be a great idea for multiple reasons:
- you’d have to scrap the whole castle for it to work, which will probably lead to crashes.
-settlers only work in the boxing ring area because that’s where their original pathing is. So they’ll just teleport to the bottom, which is why I had to freeze them all in place with console commands.
-I placed around 4k items and could just about get 30fps, so it wouldn’t be very fun to use for the average pc lol.
If enough people ask tho I’ll most likely end up uploading it. I do have a smaller version of this at murkwater that I uploaded as a blueprint.

That music is from New Vegas if I can recall correctly. Especially if I start in Goodsprings. Man the nostalgia hits me hard.
I have a bad habit of writing off builds involving mods. But I definitely changed my tune when I saw the pure amount of detail and thought put into the interior. A++ job
Thank you much appreciated! The shops would’ve been even more detailed and had proper interiors but the game couldn’t take much more. I normally play at 60fps but this place only gets 20-30fps lol

@SomeGuy_Somewhere When I got into settlement building I was really into no respawns. His original sanctuary no mods build was amazing. It made modding in items feels cheap and easy. Like buying assests off of the steam store to make a a crappy game.
But effort is effort a d you can see how much was put into this mods or no mods.

Meanwhile the castle runs out of space after i build a chair, so i made spectacle island as my new settlement

Damn dude, this is nuts. I like the repurposed use of assets like the jail cell for the ticket booth, or the warehouse walls for the display background. This must have taken a long time.
As soon as I saw that it was numbered by Districts I knew this was going to be an ordeal lol
I also have that Robobrain using a computer but has no legs. Like how you used turret legs for him 👍 all those dressers stacked up in the penthouse bedroom and that little hot tub I assume with the rubber ducky I love that!! Kinda reminds me of that tower you did but this is clearly a lot bigger. That boxing ring came out very nice! The light rig on top really makes it convincing that this is a proper boxing ring.

Ngl I think the turret legs look stupid there, but I couldn’t be bothered to scroll through the menus and find something better🤣 As for the drawers I came up with that on the spot but I’ll definitely use it again, fills up so much empty space. Whilst I was building the last tower all I could think about was building it again but bigger lol. I was very happy with the boxing ring, that was the one place I could actually get the settlers to do what I wanted.

Very nicely done. I like the dystopian vibe to it. The balcony to the penthouse would be a great view if you ever decide to remove any "eyesores" perhaps called Diamond City. 🌚

Fantastic, balls to the wall amazing, looks great, concept is great, very well executed, great tour. Video is also awesome, No Commentary + choice of music REALLY worked. I see why ppl would want commentary, but I want to say, the execution here was 11/10 without commentary and I will ALWAYS come back for this if and when you do NC tours like this.

I love how natural & lore friendly this looks... Sure i doubt it could be made post war but it fits in aesthetically with the concept art & cgi renders of Fallout 1 & 2

I only used a couple of different mods for the building tbf, I just had to resize a lot of the walls.

My main issue with uploading it is that you’d have to scrap the whole castle for it to work, you’d also have to be prepared for frame drops and settlers teleporting to the bottom of the tower lol.
I would love to build it again on the creation kit so it would function as a proper town, but I’m not ready to update my game to the latest version just yet lmao

I can’t get my castle rebuilt mod and scrap everything to play nice anymore for some odd reason. I might have to try something similar to this but not as big. Great work on your castle. It’s pretty impressive.
Thank you! Be careful if you do scrap the castle because it’ll most likely cause crashes in the long run, and make sure you don’t scrap the doors under the castle. I’m not bothered too much if mine crashes at this point because I’ll most likely only built one or two more settlements on this save.

Thank you I mainly used border junk and snappy house kit for the structure. I used place everywhere to make the poster bigger, it comes with a rescale tool.

My game rarely ever crashes on this save, I only have settlement based mods on this save and it has 15 days play time lol. It’ll probably start crashing at some point tho because I’ve scrapped a lot of things that aren’t meant to be scrapped.
