San Diego Comic-Con 2012 - Awesome Iron Man Cosplay

Here is another video taken at Comic-Con this year. This was one of the better cosplay I saw. The front part of the helmet actually clamps down shut and opens up along other moving parts. Pretty cool!

The one with all the moving parts was made from scratch by Master Lee. He has made dozens of Iron man suits using composite plastics and riveting.

I have a question: how is vision inside the suit?
Do you go blind when the helmet closes, or do you have a way of looking through?

But the detail, robotics and the colours are way better than the other one. So my vote goes for the homemade version.

The light grey sheeting over the eyes, made of some form of plastic, end before reaching the bottom of the eyesocket. It's hard to notice when the lights are on, but he can see through that gap. That said, the vision is far from great, as that is a relatively small gap, and that is why he raises the helmet when walking around.

He has servos in the helmet and control cables running down to his hands that allows him to open and close the helmet with the push of a button.
