Awesome as always. One top tip someone once told me, as the bath feet put all the weight on to a tiny foot 1.5 inch, they can sink in to the chipboard floor, so I now put a 1x4 inch plank all the way across with the feet on top, which spreads the load. Bath height stays same as you can just wind the feet down a bit. Bath will never sink.👍🏼
I’m glad you’ve commented this actually and really excited for you to see the outcome as i believe these are the things you should be paying for! The job came out so well in the end and my customers were so happy with it and what it all cost!
Makes sense, why is on a budget, customer doesn’t want pipe work to be boxed in , but when it comes to maintenance side , anything that leaks on a waste pipe work run behind that bath , all that waste run is buried behind the wall, it will cost him minimum £300 and up to fixed it 😂🙈
It’s a Mcalpine hc2650uk , top access and rotatable one of the best traps there is never had one leak , I thought that might help as there’s so many MacAlpine wastes and since you asked it would have been nice if the creator could been specific for you
So the bath was 100% the champagne item of this bathroom! It was the bit i told my customer you have to spend on. I worked out i could save money on buying cheaper tiles, chrome fixtures etc so that should free up some money for the bath which (let’s face it) will be the bit you use everyday. So it’s a Bette Ocean from my local independent merchants (which i recommend everyone should use)

Cracking job! But why is it on a budget? Chased in pipes and pipe snugs seems high end install to me!

Im curious as to think why you think a waste pipe that has been solvent welded and clipped and supported properly will just start leaking?
What’s the name of the waste as I’m going to be doing the exact same as you tiling the bath panel

A terrific series showcasing super-impressive work, and some great tips; couldn’t be better!
Thanks so much mate 🫶
Where do you get your baths? The wolsely ones seem to come with the crap legs where you cannot batton the bath along the wall
