The best advice I offer folks is to protect your belly first thing, sadly it’s not a mod you can show off, but you can wheel the heck out of stock rig with good rails and skids. You gave some sound advice about saving up for a good lift. It is quite important when you are changing the geometry of your rig. That’s why a 2.5" lift is so popular, you didn’t have to change your trac bars and control arms.
Good video and many decent points that make sense. However running 80mph that setup is insane from my experience. I've been testing out Milestar Patagonia tires in Alaska and I believe they said the black wall was the strongest side of the tire so all my white letters are facing in. So Milestar has been extremely reliable for snow and ice plus work great for the summer.
Oohh cool. I didn't know one wall was stronger! Thanks for that tip! Good to know they work well in snow and ice too. We've only had one day with ice in the 3+ years I've had these tires!
Glad to see you came thru the Covid brother. I still have that little trailer, it's awesome. I can walk it around by hand, it doesn't take up much garage space, and the cargo space makes all the difference in the world. Wish i could tell you where to get one, but it's handmade.
Tires have lasted longer than i expected for MT's. I might have to get another set when these finally wear out! Yes, i went with 4.56 as i don't plan to go up in tite size and i do some cross country driving. I just measured and they are at 16/32" tread depth.

Do you know if the Clear Creek trail is still accessible?
It was as of early October. Let us know if you go by there!
How are your tires wearing? What gears did you go with? 4.56?
