I was born in 1986 in Buffalo (still here) so I was pretty young the last time we were anywhere near this good (1990-1994) it's honestly exciting, almost nostalgic because it's been so long since we dominated.
I think QB is the hardest position to play in all sports along with closing pitcher mentally. Keeping it simple and making the right read while you can do more is really hard when you got that much of a talent like Allen and Mahomes. Mahomes was struggling by the end of the year and I thought he was trying so hard and missing easy checkdowns to prove a few couch talkers wrong. Allen's mental state is all time high at this moment and I hope he keeps this and Mahomes figure things out so we can enjoy these next generation of greatness for a long time
He gets 3 or 4 rings he’ll go down as the best quarterback/player to ever play the game.. there is no stopping Allen this year, he will make sure the bills don’t lose a game this year.. and lucky for buffalo he’s a bill for the next 8 years, along with Diggs and Von Miller.
The biggest sleeper addition of the off season will be Arron Kromer and Rodger Saffold. And I don’t see why Josh should have any games this year where he just doesn’t play well. He will command his teammates to a win if there’s another Jags game. Gonna be a huge season for us Bills fans!!
Thank you for mentioning them! Kromer was our OL coach before, but we did not have Josh at the time or anything close to the talent of our current overall offense. And Saffold is the exact type of guard we needed. Even though our backs didn’t have a ton of carries in the game, the runs had a different, more powerful and effective feel to them. With Daboll, running the ball was an afterthought, with minimal dedication both in scheme and execution…for the most part. Our run game did get better late last season and into the playoffs. I think it was a combination of McDermott getting frustrated with Daboll’s offensive gameplan (i.e. lack of a run game and putting too much on Josh to do everything), Bates becoming a starting guard for us as well as Spencer Brown returning back from injuries. We just need to run a bit more, especially Singletary. Let Josh focus more on passing and smaller sprinkles of running lol.

I think Allen threw the ball a little behind crowder but crowder for sure hesitated a bit too. It was a mistake by both guys. The closing speed that defender had to make that play was unreal though.

Brian Daboll was more good then bad for the Bills, but I completely agree about the playcalling. He always had great schemes, and a well prepared gameplan but he seemed to get flustered and make weird calls once the game actually started and defenses began to mix things up. Dorsey's experience playing QB at a high level means he'll probably navigate the flow of a game better because he's been in the thick of things and knows what its like. I really think the offense will level up this year.

You can’t call a sit route a fault on the wide receiver. He did his job. Slip behind the linebackers over the middle, find a soft spot and sit in it while also making yourself available by moving in it.
I think the argument is that it might not have been a sit route. Josh might have seen man, so he might have expected Crowder to keep running, while Crowder might have seen zone. If that's the case, it's not really anyone's fault, it's just a miscommunication.

If Allen could have waited a half a second to let the route/play develop he could have made some good separation as the db was already jumping the drag.

Trust me, as a Bills fan, our past GMs have wiffed on tons of talented players during our 17 year playoff drought. I want to say Aaron Rodgers, definitely Gronkowski, Khalil Mack (traded up when he was available and still took Sammy Watkins), and so many more. I don’t think any of them are as good as Josh, but I still feel your pain.
Take a look at Burrow's stats and Allen's. First-year Burrow played fewer games and had better stats across the board same with the second year he had better stats than Allen. Burrow's second-year stats are still better than Allen's 3rd and 4th again playing in fewer games than Allen. Also not the o-line ranking Burrow's had better stats with a really bad o-line. Also not AFC East they suck. Now look at what the Bengals have done off-season a new offensive line and a better tight end equal long ball ding throws running game good luck stopping them not gonna happen. Bengals will go10-0 before they go against the Titian Cheifs Bucks and Bills. They will sweep the AFC North. Burrows will throw for 60 TD and 5,300 plus passing. I don't think anyone can beat Joey Badass Burrows. Bengals 14-3
I think you're probably getting a little too over-excited- there are a few qb's who are likely as good or better- Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, Hebert, Burrow, and possibly others. For Rodgers picks are so rare, for example- he obviously plans for not giving the receiver chances to make mistakes that result in picks typically, so Josh Allen still has some blame for both picks.. Plus Josh Allen leaves himself open to potential big hits while running all the time, and sooner or later this could easily happen and change everything. Running this much with this much risk is bound to result in a significant injury eventually- he'll be lucky to make it to the playoffs running like this.
You missed his point entirely. The thing is that none of them can do everything Josh does at a high level. Some might be better than Josh at certain things but no one can do everything Josh does.

Trust me, as a Bills fan, our past GMs have wiffed on tons of talented players during our 17 year playoff drought. I want to say Aaron Rodgers, definitely Gronkowski, Khalil Mack (traded up when he was available and still took Sammy Watkins), and so many more. Burrow's second-year stats are still better than Allen's 3rd and 4th again playing in fewer games than Allen. Also not the o-line ranking Burrow's had better stats with a really bad o-line. Also not AFC East they suck. Now look at what the Bengals have done off-season a new offensive line and a better tight end equal long ball ding throws running game good luck stopping them not gonna happen. Bengals will go10-0 before they go against the Titian Cheifs Bucks and Bills. They will sweep the AFC North. Burrows will throw for 60 TD and 5,300 plus passing. I think you're probably getting a little too over-excited- there are a few qb's who are likely as good or better- Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, Hebert, Burrow, and possibly others. For Rodgers picks are so rare, for example- he obviously plans for not giving the receiver chances to make mistakes that result in picks typically, so Josh Allen still has some blame for both picks.. Plus Josh Allen leaves himself open to potential big hits while running all the time, and sooner or later this could easily happen and change everything. Running this much with this much risk is bound to result in a significant injury eventually- he'll be lucky to make it to the playoffs running like this.
You missed his point entirely. The thing is that none of them can do everything Josh does at a high level. Some might be better than Josh at certain things but no one can do everything Josh does.
