I went the next night. I'm 64 and have seen a few bands in my time but I was gob smacked at the entire performance. It was a thing of Brutal Beauty for 85 mins. Daniel is a freak of nature. Big props to the sound guy. The clarity of the Audio was just pure. Much love TesseracT. Regards Paul

My recordings always seem to come out really good soundwise, and I stay out of the pits, so I do usually end up recording bits and pieces at gigs even though I generally prefer not to. I recorded a bunch at the Gojira sideshow when they played last as well. I've really regretted not recording at all at gigs in the past - nowadays it seems most people don't upload their recordings to RUclips, so if I want to be able to go back and re-live the experience I pretty much always record at least a little. I went through the whole gig without recording and when the encore was about to start, knowing what songs were coming, I decided to put the camera on. Sort of wish I recorded both tracks but I'm still really glad how good this one came out. Tesseract were definitely one of the best live bands I've ever seen. They put on an amazing performance, and the live mix and sound at that venue was insane. I saw Katatonia at the same venue only a few months ago and the sound didn't even compare tbh. The light show and the general theme with the reds and darkness was really good. Usually the light show at gigs are a weak point for me, with the lights being blinding and annoying. Really can't fault this gig though, truly an amazing night.
Sadly no. I wish I did! I told myself I wasn't going to record anything this gig but knowing the encore was going to be huge I couldn't resist recording at least part of it as it was starting. Hopefully somebody else might have and uploads it. Was so cool to see two of my favourites live for the encore.
