It's a lot easier to crush a load of lowbies. I occasionally drop down to some early PZ4s and end up with 12-18 kills pretty regularly, since people are both less experienced *and* they stick around until their lineup is done - in high tiers a lot of people just quit on their first or second death.

There was an AS 42 version armed with the same AT rifle as the L3. I would LOVE to see that one get put into the game. (the other version was armed only with MGs, which I don't think would be usable unless they did like a .25 tier)

8:54 technically if you got hit in the hip with an antitank shell you wouldn't die instantly but the severe damage plus adrenaline and shock would mean you wouldnt feel anything at all and just go numb. source: i know a guy who got shot in the chest with 9mm hollowpoint and he just felt numb and went unconscious so a big antitank shell would probably just knock you out instantly
The as42 was a desert raiding vehicle, think sas jeeps. The shit ton of ammo is because it was meant to raid for extended periods of time independant of an operating base.
There actually was just a flat green pattern for Italian tanks in WWII. Why Gaijin defaults to desert paint and refuses to give us standard olive green is beyond me.

It has all favourite Spookston's chracteristics: it is big, slow, has zero armour, it has terrible gun rotation speed and slow shell. But it also uses big boom cannon. I also have a challenge for this vechicle: get 10 kills with it at BR 10.0 in a single match.
It’s APHE (or anti concrete) shell is I believe the second slowest shell in the game behind only the he round of the 150mm SIG. it is 244 M/S versus the 150’s 240

If you like low tier autocannons you have to try the Ta-Se. The armor piercing belt has better penetration than any of the Panzer II's belts, with half the reload and nearly triple the turret traverse.
Low tier is truly the Wild West of war thunder, one one hand you got glorified milk trucks with auto canons and the other you have tanks with a turret for each.
Speaking of taking an antitank shell to the hip, an acquaintance of mine had a forklift with a 10 meter pipe (diameter 250mm) sticking out frontally off its forks round a corner and drive through his car and impale him, driving the pole through him for about 4 meters. He's not dead, not even cripple. His hip got (entirely) reconstructed and he has a very slight limp. Missed some his digestive stuff by a few centimeters and some artery in his leg by centimeters too. He has no memory of the hours between him getting skewered and waking up in hospital with a new hip. Must be such a gruesome way to go that you don't even realize you're getting torn apart.
13:07 Its alright, definitely has pretty great pen for a 20 mm; the problem is it only has three belts of 36 rounds of ammo, so it definitely takes a lot of patience and know how to effectively utilize it, otherwise a cap point is the only place you'll be lol. Its definitely a beefy sounding gun, and among my favorite gun sounds

If Italy ever got more WWII era technicals, I'd love for the Autocannone da 102/35 su FIAT 634N and Autocannone da 65/17 su Morris CS8.
We still just totally need our Toyota Land cruiser and Hilux technical trees.
