Great, I didn't realize one doesn't need a HUGE tripod for lighter field 8 X10's!
Thank you Tony!
Stephen
Anytime! Light but strong and affordable is the idea. That leaves more money for film! 😎
Fantastic tutorial, very interesting, great contribute for community of large format photograph!
Many thanks Tony!🎞
Thank you Nat! I appreciate the kind words! 😎
Great Work. The people have spoken. We want More!
Thank you my friend!
Obviously for bag I mean backpack. By the way for me could be usefull to know how avoid to use too much lens movements that go beyond the cover circle of them.
great setup, thanks, nice to know you don't have to have a massive tripod and head to use 8x10" cameras.
Thanks Andy! Even my heavy Zonevi camera works fine on my Gitzo setup. Thanks for watching!
Hi Tony , your are a great teacher ! Make really simple things sometimes not tot so simple! One question about your video : may you show better what kind of bag do you use? Thank you. Romano from Italy.
Thank you for the kind words Romano! I appreciate your support. That’s a good idea for a video. Salud!😎
Awesome video! Love Stone photo gear, makes some great quality products and I appreciate the focus towards large format niche bags
Thank you my friend! I appreciate your support!😎
Great video, Thanks Tony! 👍🤓
Thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time to watch!😃
Here are two items I add to my kit:
Small flashlight
Large garbage bag to protect equipment from sudden rain
Great suggestions! Thanks for watching!😎
Learned a lot from your video about 8x10 photography. I am tip toeing to get into 8x10 due to huge investment, but you push me closer the edge with Nikon 300/f9 lens. I have mentioned lens for 4x5 which is seldom used. Thanks.
Great to hear! 8x10 is a lot of fun! Especially when you get good results! 😎
Thank you for sharing, definitely inspiring to get further away from the car! I get worried about keeping large format lenses in soft pouches that don’t protect the shutters from getting bent from compression.
That’s a very valid concern. I’ve been fortunate not to have had any incidents. Thanks for watching!😎
Is there still room to fit an ultralight sleeping back and tent? I do a lot of over night backpacking photo trips here in the ozark of Arkansas and would love to bring my 8x10. as long as I can Bring enough stuff for a one nighter. This bag looks perfect though. Thanks!
As long as you own compact gear, there’s definitely enough room for a 2-3 night excursion. Thanks for watching!
My pack is at 40lb! I win! Higher number wins.... right?
LOL! It all depends on the award you are going for!😂
