Para3d is a precise parametric modeling tool for 3dsmax, which can create about the same thing, with precision. 3dsmax has very precise modeling tools. Not sure what you mean there. Grasshopper has formula driven modeling elements, but that's about the only difference. The same structure can be made in 3dsmax, with the same precision. Max is used in very many arch/viz studios. I must assume you never worked in 3dsmax to make a statement like that.

adding three curves to one divide function is not an option in the newer version of grasshopper. Use "Manage Curve Collection" in the curve function
use shift to connect multiple curves

Autodesk has other programs for that. 3ds max is mostly used for entertainment.
