The grey dress is a bridesmaid dress from David’s Bridal. I’m about to wear it in a wedding (in Wine), and it’s a magical dress that flattered every bridesmaid’s body type!
So was the pink one! I wore it for my sister's wedding. It was very flattering as well.
I wore the same dress as the pink dress but in red!! I love how comfy it was! My prom was magical because of that dress!!
I wore the short version of it, in wisteria.
I bought it in pink for a wedding too!
I am going to be in a wedding and the bride's soon too be sister in law is wearing that one in wine, and got it at a thrift store. I tried it on and really didn't flatter me as well as it did her

I cry every time in my tiny European thrift shops. Seriously, even finding one formal dress or wedding dress is a rare occurrence
Agree! Stores in my country only have sections for gender and age (kids + adults). They won’t even have a formal type dress but we’re not big on formal occasions. Probably because there is a smaller population, so smaller stores less clothes
England's charity shops are usually a very very small room with about 200 pieces of clothing max

Same, you could stand in the very far corners, as far apart from each other, and as long as it's not much other noise, you could be talking normal-level, and easily hear.

I went prom dress shopping with my friend for her dress. I didn’t know that she already knew what dress she wanted. She told the lady, tried it on, and came back out.
I didn’t even see it on her, we didn’t even look at dresses.

plasticlilspastic1 Yes they are charity shops :) Here in Aus we call them second hand stores :)
I am from Canada and now I live in the UK. The thrift shops are a lot bigger in Canada but honestly I prefer charity shops. The quality is better and while they're smaller, there are a lot more charity shops than there are thrift shops.

Fun fact: my best friend and I went to prom together, so we found both of our dresses (they were the same style, but different colour) at a thrift shop for 2$ each. They were both the perfect size and everything
I got my prom shoes at a thrift store for 200rand and when I googled them online they were like 2000up I really saved ( or rather my mom she paid😂)
I bought my prom dress at Ross, I looked to a lot of stored to find the most affordable and dress that looks good on me. I got my dress for $20!! I'm happy about it 💜💜
Got mine at Ross too. The dress fit perfectly and was so affordable, I was able to buy two of them, since I couldn't decide.

I actually got my prom dress from Goodwill and it was only $4 and it was BEAUTIFUL I did have to dry clean it to get wrinkles out but that's all. I absolutely adored my prom dress and got so many compliments on it💜

A few days before this I did actually find my prom dress at value village and it fit me perfectly!!!!

I got my prom dress for $16 at Goodwill, it was a strapless white ball gown. And my mom and I dyed it so it was black at the very bottom, and went up through different shades of blue.
I love going to thrift stores! I mostly go to look for vinyl records (most of the time at places like Goodwill, all you find is junk that's just thrown in a corner, but sometimes you can get very lucky, like when I found a copy of Led Zeppelin II for 50 cents!) but I like looking through the clothes too. You do really have to be careful and inspect the clothes, though, to make sure that it's not worn out, damaged, or stained.

I live in a town where the nearest store is a grocery store and fast ffod places. The nearest thrift shops like Goodwill is a 30 mile drive. So for me during my junior and senior prom, I bought my dresses at yard sales for $5 to $10. Of course I bought 2 or three. The following summer or year i resold them for $5.
