Regrettably, many families have suffered losses of loved ones, pets, homes, shops, factories, farms, crops, and more. Entire small cities with populations of 20,000 to 30,000 residents have been entirely wiped out. These communities were ill-prepared for this massive disaster, receiving evacuation warnings too late.
We have an ineffective government that heavily focuses on collecting taxes for personal gain.
In times of crisis, their response and actions are delayed, fortunately there are proactive individuals who successfully rescue and provide refuge for those in need. 😢

I live here in Rio grande bo soul and it is horrible what is happening here, about 300 cities are submerged in water thousands of people without homes, food, water and clothes, it has already been 5 days since the flooding and the government hasn't even sent anyone, the people from other cities are only ones who are helping, and giving donations, people are getting their own boats and jet skis, and are saying the most people they can but too many people are trapped on their roofs and even on trees, so many people are dying from The cold. thousands of people have died. and now they have found crocodiles in the water so it is too dangerous to swim and yet the government isn't even helping, There is no way to describe how horrible the situation is here.

Its not true, Im pretty sure Im way more educated in geography than you. It happened in 1940's too, and it also wasnt deforestation problem. The main issue here is the amount of rain coming from the so called flying rivers, mainly due to El Nino activity, that takes away the low pressure zone on the amazon to the pacific, which increases the rain coming from the north air masses. When in fact, it is a horse and not a mare. The government is trying to cover up what is happening in the south for the rest of Brazil. claiming it's not that big. and amazing! the government minister said it was not time to help the south yet!
