Could I cast this in hot wax so that I may make a Lost Wax Metal Casting of the body part? (Not paraffin, I will be using a French wax mixture appropriate for Lost Wax.)

I don’t know if you’ll be able to provide an answer but, Im trying to make octopus tentacles with a bendy wire inside, is this silicone strong enough to hold up to being posed and is it flexible enough to hold the shape of the wire? Also how long does this silicone last before it starts to deteriorate? Thanks

How could you get rid of the glossy finish of the silicone?

You could powder the silicone using standard talc, then wipe off the excess.
