    K mini plus be perfect in travel trailer or motorhome to not have a sloshing water tank while traveling . Only use i see for it really.or person who keeps around just for guests , dont want stagnated water sitting in a revisor.

    I appreciate your video and detail, especially the sound, which not all reviewers include. Keep up the good work.

    just wondering if you tried to use the new k-supreme without the strong button & then used the k-mini plus with the strong button, to see if the k-supreme still tastes stronger because it has the multi stream technology?

      Oh that's a good comparison that I didn't think of. Next time I get both machines out on the counter at the same time I'll do that one and report back.

    I'm tempted to get the k Supreme, but I see a lot of the reviews on Amazon, keurig, etc complain that the k Supreme broke down or got stuck in decaying after about 4 months use. Is yours holding up? I can't afford the Supreme plus.

      @Andy1341000 3 года назад

      The breakdowns seem to be far less if an issue vs the descaling. What isn’t advertised enough is that the new Supreme line must enter descale mode you can’t simply start adding vinegar and solution and expect the light to go out.

      I was wondering the same, now I decided to get it and I really like it. I think people just don’t know how to take good care of these machines. Like obviously it’s gonna stop working after a few months if you don’t descale it and clean it/ change filters etc

    Would have been nice to see and hear the new one brew a cup of coffee. Also would have been nice to hear what kind of coffee you use and the settings you use (and why). Personally, I have never owned a Keurig so don't really know what to expect. Also, how would a cup of coffee from this coffee maker compare to a cup of Pike Place from Starbucks.

    • @TopOffMyCoffee
      @TopOffMyCoffee  4 года назад +2

      You gave me some great ideas in this comment; I think many others would just like to see/hear an unedited side-by-side of the two machines in action. I'll have to make a video down the road on my own preferences and preferred settings and why. As for Pike Place form Starbucks, sorry, I never actually get coffee there so I can't say for sure but I do know that the five point injection into the cup on the highest strength setting ensures the best possible extraction from a k-cup, at this point you are only limited by the age and quality of the coffee grind in your k-cups. At starbucks they are grinding beans in-house so they have freshness of grind working for them. With a Keurig you have to grind your own beans and then put them in a reusable k-cup... to me this defeats the purpose of using a Keurig in the first place. If I'm going to grind beans and manually load up a k-cup I might as well put them in a french press or moka pot to make even better coffee.

    Thank you for this comparison video! I asked for the K mini plus for Christmas and got a k supreme instead. I was disappointed at first, but after watching your video I realized I ended up with the better version of what I wanted.

    Very very helpful video thank you so much. I was looking to buy my parents a new coffee machine since they always complain about their old coffee maker. I was contemplating on whether or not I should buy the K-supreme or the k-mini. Now I am looking forward to purchasing them the k-supreme.

      So glad to help Kaden, the Mini Plus is a lot cheaper and it's pretty good but yeah, if money allows it that K-Supreme Plus is super nice. Have a great Thanksgiving!

    Heard the k supreme can just stop working, out of nowhere, anywhere from a month to three months from first use. Makes me weary to buy it, because these suckers are NOT cheap, and for those prices, they should last a while, with good care.

    I am so glad I kept my other Keurig brewer. This little one is a pain. It shuts off after water is added and if I add more water it then brews way more than I wanted and I have mop up afterwards.

    I have the k mini plus, and I think it makes a terrible cup of coffee. This is my first keurig. Other than that, I have only had K coffee from the keurigs in hotel rooms.
    I have found that the the coffee comes out a bit better when using the Keurig brand reusable cup, even with the coffee from a K cup. I have even put the K cup coffee from the pods in my drip coffee maker and it tastes good.
    I have an original Nespresso machine, but I also like to drink black coffee. That's why I bought the K mini plus.
    I'm just looking for a Keurig that brews a solid cup of coffee. At this point, I don't care too much what the cost is. Does the K supreme taste much better?

    I might have missed it,but does the supreme water reservoir have to be filled to brew a cup pf coffee like the regular keurigs? Or does it work like the mini water in water out?

    How long did it take to brew a 20 oz. cup of coffee? I read that someone said 2 minutes??

    • @josephbennett3482
      @josephbennett3482 3 года назад

      With any of the keurig brewer's it takes a little longer when making a large travel mug or a Carafe , making a Carafe with the keurig's takes the longest of all of the cups and mug sizes cause it goes slower and it has to brew more.

    • @mdnavarro84
      @mdnavarro84 3 года назад +1

      It is my understanding that each k-pod is set to brew a 6ox cup of coffee. How do you make a 20oz cup without losing flavor?

    • @josephbennett3482
      @josephbennett3482 3 года назад

      @@mdnavarro84 if you want to make a very large mug of coffee and don't want to losw the flavor because of it watering down you need to get the eco Carafe reusable filter and a K-Carafe designed by keurig to brew a whole pot of coffee.
      All brewer's are preset to brew 8oz's but you can go up to 10 oz's , now if you want to brew larger than 10 oz's you'll have to either get a my k-cup or like i just mentioned a eco Carafe filter and a keurig K-Carafe.
      As for making coffee taste a litte better you can use the strong button on your keurig brewer if it has one , that will slow down the rate of the Brewing process and help to make the coffee taste better in larger mugs.

    There is no difference in quality, they both are made really cheap to be sold as cheap. and guess what you get over priced cheap coffee. all because your too stupid and lazy to make real coffee. LOL I got one of these for my mother as we lost my father and she now is making coffee for one. she likes really hot watered down coffee and it has to be easy for her to make. this seemed to fit her criteria like the perfect unit for her. I got it based you these videos.I was SOLD but I should of did more research for my fisher price coffee maker for her. as she broke it on the first try. no problem, she got a new one from keurig, didn't even ask for the old one back. the support team guy was in Africa of all places. all the technology in the world we have and you still can't call over seas and get a clear call LOL. I could not get a clean line to telus phone company's support team in India. you think the phone company would have a clean line with support. nope!
    The guy I did talk to on the phone as it cracked the full time during the call, did offer me good support and I did give him a 5 start rating at the end of the call. he was a good guy and easy to deal with, I liked that and it made my day.

      Neither the Supreme or the Supreme Plus have a pod storage compartment like the Mini Plus. Not a big loss though IMO.

    My Keurig k575 starts brewing in maybe 3 seconds(I'm guessing).. I haven't timed it but its almost instantly pouring coffee out.. and it definitely takes less than a minute to make a 10 oz cup.. I need to time it sometime.. out of all my keurig machines I've had its been the best tasting and best in speed I've seen I also love that it makes 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 oz and a 22, 26, 30 oz carafe.. I pray it never breaks because they no longer sell it..

      @@TopOffMyCoffee its been going for a few years now, tastes great.. I like using my K-Carafe feature most with a mug about 16-18oz it tastes delicious.. I've had several Keurigs over the years I think the K575 is the best so far, but I am interested in the new multi stream one but I can no longer afford a new Keurig like years before :)
