Great job Ricky, these D12 Kei trucks are fun hey! I have 2 now and was thinking of going brushless as well on the new yellow one I have with the wide body kit that I featured recently, have a good evening mate 👍
Great conversion job Ricky. The WPL trucks look like big fun. I just ordered 2 crawlers for indoor use with my grandson on rainy days. Thanks for posting, Cheers !
Top tip throw the gear box away make custom motor mount put big motor with no pinion gear just drive shaft locked onto motor shaft locked onto rear axle and the fun begins 👍 oh and u need the metal axle or it just breaks lol 😆
Cool "sleeper" brushless conversion Ricky! This kind of drifting isn't my absolute favorite part or RC, they are very cool, but I haven't tried drifting yet, so you know what they say; "Don't knock it till ya try it"! Happy Thanksgiving eve!
It would be nice if you use a radiolink 6ch radio for your future brushless cars, it comes with a gyro in the receiver so we can see the true potential of these cars.
Any WPL Fans here? What's your favourite model? This conversion turned out pretty good and I will definitely be fitting a gyro which should help to keep the truck nice and stable! Get your D12 here: bit.ly/3BYVRlO
Who'd have thought that one of the ugliest, worst driving trucks of the 1980's would become a cult rc car!! It's just nuts!! 🤣 I've resisted buying one of these so far, but my sons watched this now.....!!! 😂🤣👍🏻
I don't have the D12, but I would imagine it would, IIRC as 24__ brushless motor and a 3_0 motor have the same mounting holes, but don't quote me on that.

Cheers Dave! A lot of fun brushless is the way forward for a bit of extra power! Have a good one mate 😎
You gave the truck a nice clean look and you can't notice it mods good job.

The brushless motor is something I'd do but definitely would keep the original wheels.

Flyhal 9135 pro rc car review
Would a 380 or 390 motor fit in one of these? Great build. 👍🏻🍻
Too big I would have said as the original brushed motor is a 260 with very little space for a larger motor.
