- I birthed our second baby at home and it was all I prayed and dreamed it would be, AND more! It was positive, calm home birth and unfolded so beautifully I could hardly believe it. It has proven to me that we must protect physiological birth because birth is so smart! We had a trained birth team with us on this day, this was not a free birth.

Agh, this is true physiologic birth, in the comfort of one’s home, peaceful, natural and serene. What a beautiful example you set for many women. My first was supernatural, 24 weeks with second and cannot wait to experience the birth high again.

This is how I know I’m meant for a home birth. The peace, calmness, confidence and love you guys radiate is incredible. Every time I watch a birth like this I’m just overcome with a wash of excitement and peace. Birth by gods design - not in a bright sterile room surrounded by five strangers with hands in your hoo-ha 😅

I’m not sure how this popped up on my feed, but it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen💗I was never able to have children so I do have that emptiness, but I was blessed to have two beautiful stepchildren that I love unconditionally and they love me unconditionally. I was talking to my husband about if we were ever able to have children together (which will 100% never happen💔), but if I were able I would definitely want a home birth and watching your husband right there with you knowing my husband would be doing the exact same. My biggest question so with the placenta did you pull it or does it comes out naturally?
Mine came out naturally! Someone can pull on their cord a bit if it's detached and just sitting at the cervix but its typically best to let it come on its own incase it is still attached.

I’m curious… at what point did you call for your midwife to come?
We were in touch the whole day and she was ready to leave at the drop of a dime. When I could tell that I was turning a corner, potentially to transition, I asked her to come! She got here just in time for my back to back contractions.
