i believe it's either/or, not both. so you can either throw an enemy at another enemy with improvised weapons, or throw the offhand returning weapon with the actual throw action.
Exactly what @Mercinary08 said. It can be set up in the "Reactions" tab, same as Reckless Attack or Paladins' Divine Smite. Unfortunately I can't help further, I am not familiar with the UI on PS. I may be misremembering things, but I think "Sneak Attack" is set up as an automatic reaction - so it happens without asking the player.

How do you do this on PS5? They are separate actions on the wheel.

@@DeadStarShade I mean adding the sneak attack damage to throw. I've only ever been able to do it as a melee.
Sneak Attack can be set to proc as a "reaction" similar to barbarian's Reckless Attack.
