Not to be super duper annoying, the way to attach the lid straps is actually found in the stretchy side pouch on either side. There should be a small loop sewn to the front area right near the top of the side stretch pockets! Enjoy and loved the video and review, thank you very much.

I've ordered the 1800 with a few accessories to try. If I end up liking it I'm going to go for a larger bag an swap the frame around so I have the option for day adventures or light 2 day trips with the 1800. I've been searching for a decent hunting pack for about 2 years an this is the brand an bag I'm going to pull the trigger on. My first pack was an older eblerstock and I cant say I was ever impressed with it besides the durability of the fabric.

Great review. I’ve been keeping an eye out for this because I’m looking for great day pack that I can haul with. Looking forward to some other videos once it’s in use.
It’s this or possibly the MR Pintler. Pintler has some nice pockets in the inside and is about 700CI bigger but it’s also a pound heavier and the shoulder straps and waist belt don’t look any where near as nice as EXO.
