I absolutely love my full size 4.5" PDP with one huge exception which isn't the guns fault. This pistol has been out for over 4 months now. I bought mine technically the day before they were to be released. Walther has still not made a single 18 round mag available for purchase yet which is unacceptable. It just really pisses me off honestly and I've talked with other's who feel the same way. People have bought the full size to use for duty but can't because there's no mags. Sorry, rant over lol. After having the PPQ M1 for quite a while I've got to slightly lower my thumbs when using it and the PDP to avoid the slide lock back mishap you had. I rarely have them now but took awhile to adjust to it. Great review brother and the PDP is definitely still a winner besides rhe mag issue.
Hey AlphaRomeo, Yeah the magazine issue is definitely a problem, another reason I like the compact 5” barrel. They are awesome pistols. Yeah I definitely ride high on pistols, definitely Glock-centric 😂
Thanks for the great explanation regarding the magazines that are offered on the compact models.,I saw those extended mags and wasn't sure which variant has these.

This is my new favorite pistol. I got the 4" full size frame and absolutely LOVE it. I put a 508T on it and an Olight Baldr RL. What a great shooting pistol. I have really big hands and this gun fits me better than any other pistol I own, I have a few, lol. I can't say enough good things about it. The frame angle is perfect for me while shooting with a red dot.
