    Super knowledge for me Pete......Hey your a good musician.
    Would love to see later where you fine tune the settings to get the sound you want.

      Cheers my friend. Number one priority is having fun, and number two is producing what is hopefully some solid music!

    I’ve got Auria Pro and an iPad Mini 5. Using that with the $100 flat eq 🎧 headphones. I suppose if I use any kind of mic on the vocal tracks to sing and convey lyrics for the real singers who will use their priceless microphones 🎙 to do the leads. Any harmonies I do will be on the low side.

    Greetings Pete! Loving the videos . To my knowledge this is the only ios daw i have seen that allows you to manually adjust the buffer size to get lower latency . Latency is the enemy of vocals to me. So if I am only able to use a nice usb microphone for now would this daw help ? Would it make it little to no latency on a USB mic? I am unable to afford a Audio interface with xlr mic for the time being . Sorry to make this message so long I've been trying to figure this out forever

    I have currently 2 ongoing projects in Auria Pro, in one of them I can records my audio, in other project, it is not taking any signal from the mic, I m not using any gear, just type c adaptor and headphones. 😿 . I have checked the settings of both the projects, both are same.. what else should I need to check? Where to find help?

      That’s a bummer! Might need to try the Auria forum and I’m definitely a noob.

    Hi pete, Auria Pro vs cubasis 3 , which one is better?

    • @TheTelecasterforever

      Exactly my question

    • @PeteJohnsMusic
      @PeteJohnsMusic  4 года назад +1

      How long is a piece of string?
      Answer - it depends.
      Software is rarely “better”, but instead has different features that will work for different people and their workflow.
      At the end of the month I’ll do a summary show to talk about the differences.

      Pete Johns This!
      I have 2017 11.9 iPad Pro and use both and also GarageBand too. When my mate wanted me to record some acoustic guitar for his songs Cubasis was really the easiest to import his track, record and export mine. When church went Zoom and needed full track songs recorded I used GarageBand because although I play guitar/keys/bass I’m a middling drummer at best and GB drummer can’t be beat. When we finally got back as a band and recorded live at church and videoed it at the same time Auria Pro came into its own for mixing and mastering and fixing odd time mistakes (stuff that none of the others can do as easily).
      I didn’t think I’d be able to learn Auria pro when I first bought it way back when but it really has features that the others lack and everything just finally clicked this last time. It and LumaFusion were an unbeatable combination-and although I know it’s meant to be a bit ‘unstable’ it’s been nothing but rock solid for me the last few months 🙂

      I have both daws. I started out with A pro, and recently started messing around in cubasis.
      Auria pro definitely has more features closer to a desktop daw. Cubasis is a little more friendly.
      I record heavy metal music. I love Auria pro’s interface. They’re both pretty good. I think I like Auria a little better. I would recommend sticking with one or the other because they function very different from each other.

    Can we export all the stems non-mastered?
    Because as I remember, Garageband exports them mastered only.

    • @PeteJohnsMusic

      It will always add auto normalisation unfortunately. ruclips.net/video/VallQgBz24E/видео.html

      I wanna record vocals with ipad and mix them on my pc. Because my laptop makes a lot of noise, it cannot be in the same room with my condenser mic…

      Seems to be a pretty good platform. Auto tunes works okay for some music some of the time, but not al music all of the time.

      Pete Johns something fun about the idea of making a song with minimal tools and surprising people listening thinking it was recorded in a professional studio only to find out it was all done in a bedroom motivates me

    • @PeteJohnsMusic
      @PeteJohnsMusic  4 года назад +3

      100%. It’s why I separate my music from my recording content a lot. I want folks to judge my music as “music”, not as “music created on an iPhone”. Always cool when they don’t believe it was recorded in my closet using GarageBand. 😁
