Solid review dude! I've had this soundbar for a month and I love it! Just recently hooked it up with the rear speakers also and It really came to life. 5.1 and above sounds amazing with the Vertical Surround + rears!
The Dolby Speaker Virtualiser gives a more surround feel but in a very tight listening area with little to none vertical surround. Some say it sounds better, I prefer using the Vertical Surround with Atmos content. I usually have a few friends or family watching movies with me on it so it helps to have that wider listening angle, but all in all I personally think it sounds more expansive with that instead of the virtualiser. What's worse is you can't toggle any of the settings e.g music, cinema, e.c.t on the virtualiser. So it's down to preference and what your circumstances are.

If yes, please suggest the rear speakers. It is very helpful to me. Thank you...
I actually went to Best Buy to purchase the lower model that cost $200 but it kinda sounded distorted. I asked the sales man for a better model and he showed me this one. For about $599, I love the sound of this one and the bass was way better. You can also turn up the vocals from the actual background noise. No distortion. Very cool. Also you can add the rear speaker at a later time if your willing to pay $300 for them. Going to try and pick the sound bar up next pay day. 😁👍

I know there are computer speakers but let's face they stink big. I like good sound that I can game with and listen to music. SO I want something better than computer speakers. So how do they game?
I have a question, how about them rear speakers? It's the first time that I have bought myself a surround system for my TV, the rear speakers work well with the movies and games, but when it comes to to the music, they kind of sound quieter and when I put my head close to them it's like an echo... and not doing a great job especially on the vocal, it's because they do not meant to be for listening to the music? Thanks
let me answer on the behalf. From my point of view, the 2 rear speakers are surround speakers, they are mainly for watching movies. They produce echos and background sounds. For listening to music and songs, 2.1 channel is only needed. Music no need surround speakers, hence when listening to music, dont switch to 5.1 channels, 2.1 will do.
Was looking into this soundbar for some time. Question is - can you actually use the buildin chromecast to stream video with the truehd/Atmos audiostream? I have a local media server on my NAS and I watch everything from it on my smart TV. But ARC and toslink can send only lossy 5.1. So would I need something like a chromecast ultra additionally?
It's difficult for us smaller tech guys. Really don't want to upset anyone and burn bridges if you know what I mean? It's really hard to get products sent for review especially if you throw them under the bus...but that's gonna change now :)
You still have plasma TV!!!! OMG ...time to upgrade! You bought a relatively expensive soundbar but using 18th century TV LOL. Nice review by the way...good job.
Overhead sound is non existent. My room size can't be an issue either as it's a small room. Spend £100 more for considerably better atmos. I never expected Sony to lie about their products. Isn't that miselling? There's is no Atmos.

I sold my 700 and bought this one. I needed more boom in my life

Klipsch bar 48. Got an open box deal at best buy, $500
The vertical sound is not working, why?
How can you tell if it’s working or not. ? I just bought this today
I bought it too but the woofer keeps cutting out after a few weeks
Watching this in 2024 is it still woth it? I could buy this for 160dollar
I hope that heart answered your question lol.
I love the fact it has a bunch of "HateDMI" ports!
You did a great job on this video keep it up I'll be back
So you usually don’t say whatever you want about products?
It's difficult for us smaller tech guys. Really don't want to upset anyone and burn bridges if you know what I mean? It's really hard to get products sent for review especially if you throw them under the bus...but that's gonna change now :)
I like the creeper wave at 644! 😁
Great review!
Maybe u could include sound test in the review..😁😁
It's quite difficult to do. A mic will never simulate the exact sound experience.
You are a likable person sir :) thumbs up
You still have plasma TV!!!! OMG ...time to upgrade! You bought a relatively expensive soundbar but using 18th century TV LOL. Nice review by the way...good job.
4leafclover thanks man! you know what though for some reason it's still better for gaming than my Sony w8.
Still very happy with my plasma tv also. It's not because there is oled tv's now than plasma became suddenly shitty tech.
Just So Awesome Review I'm Your Biggest Fan ^_^ ♥️🔥🤟😍👍
I know is odd but bro can you make a video about Bdv-n9200w?
I'll try
They are perfect I own it all
Do you have the rear speakers?
I buy it, worth every penny.
If you want to buy it try to buy a rear too.
Cool review
brother
400 watts, realistic - 52w bar, 20 sub.
Awesome review thanx 👍
Eyad al-essa thanks man. I think I made it a little to long but glad you liked it
WhatGear long but not boring ;)
Thanks I appreciate it
Overhead sound is non existent. My room size can't be an issue either as it's a small room. Spend £100 more for considerably better atmos. I never expected Sony to lie about their products. Isn't that miselling? There's is no Atmos.
The only deal breaker for me is the lack of eArc.
It has earc. Updated firmware from Sony.
Does anybody have feedback on this
Good video, but can you directly start getting to the point in future videos. Keep good to have at last, please.
Sony always makes good sound system
They do have pretty impressive audio gear
This was probably the worst soundbar software/gui functionality I've ever experience tbh. Sounded great by simply not worth the money.
Nice!!! 😍
Até vc aqui André, kkkkkk, That's awesome
WhatGear:(after saying)it supports
LDAC!
Me:(agreeing)RRAAAAWWWRRR!
Alejandro Pamintuan lol
2020 here. A ton of Dolby content now. LOL
So are you saying
U do biased what company send you products to do review. 😕
The hts350 is better for less then half the price. Only thing you lose is hdmi input & rear speakers that NEVER work accordingly. & yes, ive owned both.
PS: stay away from the htg700!!!!
Another reviewer failing to demonstrate the product. Ugh
Don’t buy it…hick ups in the sound and no solution or support. Check online. Lots of problems.
Why are Sony Soundbars so terrible?
First 😎😎😎
Legend!
WhatGear 😍😍😍
How about less of your face and more of the product? Jesus
Lol ok man point noted...next one will be different
Lol wtf the video was great .. what else you have to see on the product
