- The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Emergency this afternoon after several tornadoes it the Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas metro area.
In this video shot by StormChasingVideo.com Weather Paparazzi Brandon Sullivan is one of the tornadoes east of Forney, Texas it shows various shots of a very large destructive tornado. The video shows Tight and wide shots of a large tornado with debris swirling around it as it was approaching Brandon. The video continues to show another set of tight and wide shots of the tornado. Debris is seen in air, multiple power flashes.
In the final clip, it shows a large tornado in the field right next to Brandon as he is backing up to get out of the way of the tornado.

i live in burleson tx, these storms hit us before the big forney texas tornado and I saw the one that was by cleburne ford.
I lived through this thing... It was less than I mile from my school while I was there

Excellent close-up location , Brandon, congrats. But please do us a favour, please get a camera with image stabilisation. Or if you are shooting this with a Canon EOS DSLR, use a lens with I.S. , such as the EF-S 15-85 IS . The Image Stabilisation on those photocameras also does wonders in video mode and your video would be much smoother, more stable. No need for tripod, I know how hectic it gets during the chase, therefore I really recommend the use of IS lenses.

I am a little confused myself, with all respect, the tornado was given a maximum width of a narrow 150 yards, this tornado looks at least twice that...could the estimated width be off or is this a different tornado?
I was watching his feed live when he shot this, but the feed was a dash cam and didn't get the storm - just his screaming!
usually, the tornado itself being filmed is good enough for me, but the reactions definitely win here
this was one of the first one that touch down just outside of dallas it hit nothing but country land.

The actual vortex in that tornado is already much smaller than the tornado itself. The reason why it was large was the dust.

I swear I passed by this same tornado and watched the cows in that very pasture stand on their hind legs and hauled ass like Usain"Bolt" from the '09 Olympics. Seriously. I was like WTF?? right when I was trying to video tape it for you guys, the phone blew out of my hands and it was severely damaged.

Hey Mr Garrison/Weird Al, no need to creme your Jeans 16 secs in.... And while your creaming, ever stop to think this tornado went over a school... Yes a tornado is exciting but think of the victims before posting with sound.... As a professional ghost hunter, this video and your reactions are very unprofessional. Too bad the guys in Lancaster caught the best footage of any chaser though they were just trying to save their lives. Remarkable 14 tornadoes and no one was killed...
