Watching this group dance was very emotional for me. full disclosure, I self harmed in middle school and finally decided to take my own life freshman year of high school because of a traumatic event that i didn't know how to cope with. Luckily for me, someone saw the signs and they reached out to me and forced themselves into my life, and honestly it saved me. That girl is now my best friend and I owe my life to her. This group dance is so powerful because it addresses a topic that no one thinks about until it happens to someone close to you. Abby did an amazing job of choreographing the struggle that a person goes through when they consider taking their life, and the girls perfectly executed the emotions. Perhaps the most chilling part was when Kalani threw herself from the table and into their arms, because at that point you see the person giving in one last time and relying on others before they make the final decision. Seriously, the best piece dance moms has ever done.
For those of you that are reading and disliked the video I am a dancer and right now you have the gut to dislike the video after the message it’s trying to send i as well sometimes have those thoughts but dance is the way I express myself and I think that all of you who disliked the video should think again and for those of you that feel like you need to end your life right now just know that there are people in this world that love you I LOVE YOU And you should just wait and see because you CAN turn your life around and make it better

It's crazy because he seemed perfectly fine, he talked a lot, had tons of friends, and tons of laughs. No one saw it coming, it's a tragedy that he felt that it was the only way to find relief. Apparently, his home life was terrible, his mom didn't even speak for him at his funeral. Really a shame.

This dance touches my heart tremendously and it's absolutely beautiful. Speaking as someone who has gone through suicidal thoughts and actions this piece is extremely important to see. Suicide is a very bad and dangerous thing and no one should go through it. this dance had a lot of meaning and a big impact. It is really sad that the girls are not dancing with the ALDC any longer because if they did I would love to see more suicide awareness pieces such as this one.

This dance touches my heart tremendously and it's absolutely beautiful. Speaking as someone who has gone through suicidal thoughts and actions this piece is extremely important to see. Suicide is a very bad and dangerous thing and no one should go through it. this dance had a lot of meaning and a big impact. It is really sad that the girls are not dancing with the ALDC any longer because if they did I would love to see more suicide awareness pieces such as this one.
