For the first time in 7 years, I think that every single dancer performed equally amazing as their characters. I can see that they really felt this dance. Each of them were incredible with their acting, as well as their dance. But it was the acting that really sold it. Brynn and Kalani have come really far with their emotions since they've been with Abby. I'm so proud of all of these girls, this dance made me cry like a baby.

The best acting/character I've ever seen from Kendall! I love how after the dance, she was asking why she was the only one crying. Baby girl, it's because you felt your emotions on stage for the first time. You didn't just fake it or try and use just facial expressions, you literally felt exactly what your character is going through. That's called acting. Amazing job Kendall.

No one should ever say she has no emotion because this dance should just shut them all up.

This is one of the most beautiful, compelling and powerful ALDC group dances I have ever watched. It will and should go down in history as one of their bests.
Because Lifetime rigged the competition and had her in the senior division despite the fact that she's only thirteen and was supposed to be the youngest in the teen division. The two girls she lost to (Kalani and another girl) were 16 and 17, so she might as well have won.
I love how all the girls shone in their own right in this piece and how it brought the whole dance together. The lift with bryn and her facial expressions at the beginning were amazing. Kendall committed so well to her character and was so engaging. Camryn made her character so beautiful but so tragic at the same time. Nia was so strong and kept her emotions in keeping with her character. And every time Kalani made any move or gesture to the marks on her arms I got chills she portrayed it so well. One of my favourite dances of all time.
It's pretty obvious at this point that Chloe is their good luck charm. This group dance is amazing and it sends such a powerful message, I did cry watching it the first few times.
Seeing Chloe cry was everything for me, like that girl went through do much, she didn't deserve the treatment she was given. She has such a pure heart ❤❤❤

Lodbrok Yes, absolutely! At first, it was about my mental health experience, but it was later used in a play regarding Syrian refugees! At that point, the meaning changed for me, but then I realized the song is really about the struggles of humankind in general and how we navigate through difficult times. We all go through different, hard experiences and travel our own "long roads," but it's important to always keep on for the sake of hope and remember that others deal with struggles of their own. That being said, I think the song can mean anything to the listener and that's what I think is pretty cool and universal about it! :) I am so glad you liked it and I really appreciate your support!
