On PE Design 10, does it have a feature that allow to remove stitches that over lap? Meaning; say I make a cross and I want to get rid of the bulk in the center of the cross (where the to pieces cross over each other). Or should I make three (3) manual punches instead of two (2)? Is this question confusing? PS love your videos, very helpful. Thank You for your help.
Most old school digitizers prefer manual punch to have total control of the stitch direction and width. There are other ways of doing it but when creating something like feathers it can't be beat.
@@reginascraftingandmore713 No I don't, and I wish I had made one back when I put together these tutorials. I would probably use a double satin stitch with a manual punch and add a feathered edge (under sewing attributes). Kind of like you would do a leaf but with a feathered edge. If you have a good feather file, watch how it sews out then duplicate their style to your specifications. good luck and thanks for watching.
The purpose of starting with a running stitch is to give the machine time to lock down the stitch so it does not unravel on the starting end. It does not have to be as long as I demonstrated, nor does it have to be down the middle.
Once again, thanks for the lesson - good info on new manual punch features, liking PED 10 more!
Thanks for the tutorial. Can you have an outline on manual punch stitching?
can u please do a tutorial on a logo with hand i don't know what to do with fingers

Thank you, I was wondering when you put the running stitch down the middle.
