Goodness this was Helpful! 3:32! I have spent the last two days trying to figure out every combo to make the cut tool work. DOUBLE CLICK after the 4th point! So simple! So easy! HOW did I NOT stumble upon it before??? Thank goodness for video's like these! Thank you!
OMG! I couldn't figure out this feature and literally waisted hours on trying to figure this out! You made it so very simple to understand! THANK YOU!!!!
Hello Sue, Thanks for all your videos they are wonderful and very helpful to me. However, I have a problem that I can't get out of. In this video you show how to split design into separated colours. Can I split the design into colours, then edit and then return to one non divided design? Thank You for all your videos. Betty
You made my day! You talk right at the right speed and you explained it quickly and it’s gonna be fun to split my design I have subscribed and I am going to look for another one of your videos.
I have some questions. I have a SE700 that only takes a 4x4. I leaned how to split a design with your help. I was wondering when I go to hoop my machine does it require that I use my 4x4 hoop or can I use another size like my 4x6 3/4 or could I use another size like a 5x7 also the design page gives the option for 4 red boxes vs 12red boxes when making sure each box is a 4x4?
Hi I always save your tutorials and I am looking for a way to split a word that I need to put into positions on my large embroidery hoop I have PE design 10 and I’m trying to split two words so the lineup in an arch? Do you have a video on that
Good video Sue. Thankfully this video also applies to PE-Design 11. :) I was trying to ungroup two objects within the same box in the sewing order. Instead I split them and hopefully now when I stitch the file my machine will stop between each object so I can position the appliqué piece in the hoop and then when I hit go it will stich the piece in place.
I have a Solaris with Pallet software. Now I have a Brother PS1050x also, can Are use the pallet software to split the design to use on the 10 needle machine with the 14x14 frame?
I have split my design and am using the multihoop design property to enlarge to 5 7/8"x 11 7/8" hoop. The problem I am having is that the design isn't aligning properly (it's about 1/8" off when stitching out on my Brother SE1900). Do you know what could be causing the misalignment?
Hi Sue, If you split a design into two parts, can one enlarge every single part ? I have a complete design for my 20x30 cm hoop and now I want it to double it in size, and make it 40x60 cm. Can I do it this way by splitting it in halve vertically and horizontally and then enlarge it ? Or is there another methode to do this ? Thanks for the info.
To resize I click on the file as a whole (you get a black box with black boxes in the corners and in the middle of each horizontal and vertical box line). Then move your mouse to a corner until the pointer turns into a diagonal arrow. Hold your CONTROL key and the pointer should add a box with zig zag stiches. Click and now drag the box diagonally until you reach your desired size. This will enlarge or shrink your design but adjust the density of the stitches to the size you are creating.
This doesn't pertain to this video, but can someone tell me whare to find a video on loading a design on a memory stick, then loading it to my machine in ped10. Thanks for any help
My design is 1 color, so I still can not split the design; also, the "Split" ability only shows up under shape, and its greyed out because my design is not a shape.
Do you need to split a design? Here are two fast and easy ways of splitting designs. Check it out! #goteamPEDesign10

Can you split an svg design if so, how? I tried but got no where....
an SVG is something different from embroidery files - I am sure you can do it, but you will need some graphics software.
Hi my machine is Brother. PE-770 embroidery I like to know what program need to get for doit and how I will appreciate..

@@OMLembroidery thank you so much

Is it possible to split an already made .pes file in PE-design 10 without digitizing it again?
I have a big file that won’t fit in my 5x7 machine but it’s already digitized
you can reduce the size a small amount to fit into your hoop.
The "Stitch" menu doe not show up for my design that I got out of my brother software.
My design is 1 color, so I still can not split the design; also, the "Split" ability only shows up under shape, and its greyed out because my design is not a shape.
: )
:)
Doe anyone undertand , she doesn't explain good, from the beginning, and how do you save the design?
