I know this video is old, but I just wanted to say that this build is amazing. I love everything you've been doing with Aluna Island and it blows me away when I see the amount of work and effort you put into each build. You've really inspired me to improve my building and decorating skills in the Sims and I've learned a lot from your videos. Easily one of my favourite people on RUclips. You're awesome!
This whole build turned out really well. It remained interesting to watch throughout the whole two episodes, as each room served a different purpose and turned out differently but maintained a consistent style and vibe. The slower video was pretty good; you could see what was going on much easier. All in all, nice video and nice build! The cafe was indeed awesome.
You should do a Let's Play on this world when everything is finished, move from Roaring Heights to Aluna Island. I'd love to see this venue in game (being used).
Wow James, all the buildings just turned out so great, at first I thought meh, I've seen better from you, but I am happy I stuck around because it turned out better than I ever dared to believe. Keep up those great builds!
In Britain, you cannot go to an attractions beach without loosing all of your 2p's on penny pushers to get tickets and toys and begging your parents for that last go on the claw machine. (Well, depending how old you are :P)
I have to say, this is one of your best builds yet. :) :) I agree with you, the café is awesome, it looks very realistic to an actual café. Love the arcade as well.
In the future it would be really cool for you to have your official, put together version of Aluna Island where all the lots are built by you and then also have like call it the Sim Supply approved version of Aluna Island where you have filled in every lot with your favorite builds for Aluna Island. If that makes any sense. Gosh that would be time consuming to also do the second part. Maybe instead of filling in the island just have like a page on your website where you pick your 60 favorites, accounting for the island's needs for things like a library and gym, and call it something like Sim Supply's Community Picks
Love how the end product came out! It's really great. I would have added the alchemy register to into the consignment store though. I think both those registers together look really good together. And maybe the comic book one too. It's just such a big room, and I think all three registers would look great in all the chaos of the room. Ha ha.
bloody brilliant work here James...i love how you incorporated an aussie feel without it being 'australiana' it's contemporary & vibrant it really reminded me of palm cove & port douglas but yet again any tropical coastal town type feel love it!! it was wonderful watching both vids awesome work
this lot should have been enough for the sims team to offer you a job. i mean it. none of the community lots that came with the game is anything like this.
i love this lot sooo much as well!! :) it's awesome, that's perfect detailling, i'll definitely download it for into your world, it's soo great... can't wait for more houses for your world, you're doing this so great! :) and to me it doesn't matter if you're doing two videos by 30min oder one video for an hour... or an 3 hour video, i'll watch everything anyways^^ you're great at entertaining ;)
Timezone is around everywhere i know in Australia, doesn't sell food, but then there's places like AMF bowling that does have arcade machines, like racing car games, whack-a-mole, and the claw machines. AMF also tend to have lazer tag areas too :P
In the UK, there is at least 5 arcades at every beach town, boardwalk or resort. There still really huge here, I don't know about anywhere else. There's this one site in Bognor Regis which has this HUGE tent that is filled with arcade machines. There everywhere!
I love the café, gym and the consignment store. It looks amazingly detailed and I will download ur world when every single building is finished being created by u & ur fans. Because I am soooo terrible at building. LOL! I looooovvvvveeee ur World.
Very awesome. However, I would like to issue a challenge to you... Since you love challenges so much, maybe you should try limiting one expansion pack per building. Say you plan to make a beach... only items from Paradise, or make a club using only items from Late Night. It would be interesting to see what you use or come up with. Great build. Love the speed and all commentary for your work.
You could do a bit of both. Talking about the speed-thinge ofc. On the smaller and "easier" houses, you just do high speed like normal, and on these larger, more detailed houses you do it like you did now. I enjoyed these videos, but I cant imagine sitting trough 2 hours of you deciding the couch on a starterhome, if you catch my drift :p
I believe that there is an arcade in my favorite mall, but I never see anyone there. I suppose people got tired of paying every time they wanted to get their ass kicked in Guitar Hero? I dunno. Loved this build! So, so beautiful!
Such an amazing lot!! So beautiful :) I do very much like the slower time lapse, and the split videos to 30 min. I didn't mind the fast time lapse, but so much less is cut out this way. That store would be so great as a savvy sellers store. I can just place the rugs under everything and add a register next to the one you placed. I was wondering.. when you click on the lot from map view, will it be listed as split venues? (Cafe/Gym/Arcade/Consignment Store) Like in some of the expansion pack and store worlds have things like Spa/Bookstore.
There isn't actually an arcade near me (other than the tiny one in the bowling alley) but I absolutely LOVE arcades! If I go anywhere that has an arcade in it, I'll stay in the arcade the entire day. I don't care about the main attraction! Just give me an arcade and I'm good xD So yeah... Arcades are amazing~~
Amazing video. And where I live, in US, we used to have a cool arcade in our mall called "Aladdin's Castle" -- though it looked nothing like a castle ;)
You're on about a lot of arcades being part of a bigger establishment. Cici's pizza buffet has a tiny arcade in the back. Our movie theater has a slightly larger arcade. There's Chuck e Cheese's and Dave & Buster's that are food restaurants that have arcades on the side. The Circus Circus casino hotel has an arcade for the kiddies to pretend gamble in. I can't think of a single standalone arcade.
Here in the States in Ann Arbor Michigan they have a arcade place, its a big one, it has nothing but that, and a snack area, I forget what its called now, its been about 5 years sense I was in Ann Arbor, lol! And I have to say, I love it when Aussies say No worries, meaning no problems or trouble, its kinda cute! lol! I enjoyed this video more because of his accent, if he had an American accent I wouldn't have watched the whole thing, lol!
Other than Chuck-E-Cheese the only other arcade I still know of is called Dave and Busters, but it leans towards the young adult crowd. But arcades still pop up in Miniature Golf Courses and places that have go-carts, batting cages, laser tag, ect.
You said it in the first part, but it would be cool if you made a rave-place or just somewhere to go out and drink, that's not in the cafe-style. Also maybe you could build a mall or something. With a clothing store, maybe a resturant and some stuff. So you can get a lot of lots in one.
James, for the graffiti maybe you can try holding CTRL+SHIFT and click the graffiti area, and see if any options pop up in the menu. I discovered this menu on accident when playing with my resort. Thats how I changed the colors anyway.
I know this video is old, but I just wanted to say that this build is amazing. Agreed

I absolutely love the way you've started decorating! It makes it look incredibly detailed and homey. Amazing job on the island so far. xx
Beautiful furnishing work there James! Really love this one :P
This could possibly be my favourite builds of all time XD congrats dude it looks AMAZING!!!
Wow James, all the buildings just turned out so great, at first I thought meh, I've seen better from you, but I am happy I stuck around because it turned out better than I ever dared to believe. Keep up those great builds!
This whole build is incredible James! So much detail and colour! Love it!
In Britain, you cannot go to an attractions beach without loosing all of your 2p's on penny pushers to get tickets and toys and begging your parents for that last go on the claw machine. (Well, depending how old you are :P)
Well...it's a small world, isn't it?
Martha Jones OMG hey! :P
heyyyyyyyyyyyy XP
I love how all the "buildings" turned out! And so colorful~
The cafe especially looks really artsy :D
I have to say, this is one of your best builds yet. :) :) I agree with you, the café is awesome, it looks very realistic to an actual café. Love the arcade as well.
HAHAH "oh, oh no, I was completely talking crap"
Looks great! I'm always amazed by all the different ideas you have for different builds and seeing how you come up with buildings.
In the future it would be really cool for you to have your official, put together version of Aluna Island where all the lots are built by you and then also have like call it the Sim Supply approved version of Aluna Island where you have filled in every lot with your favorite builds for Aluna Island. Really enjoyed this build. So much for your sims to do in one place. The arcade is my favorite

love it!! it was wonderful watching both vids awesome work
I love how much detail you put into your builds, truly fantastic
SERIOUSLY, amazzinnnngg!!!!! On the whole slower speed thing, I personally kind of like it!
this lot should have been enough for the sims team to offer you a job. i mean it. none of the community lots that came with the game is anything like this.
Awesome, can't wait for my Sims to go their and enjoy it. One of the best areas on the island to far.
32:06 haha some random coffee cup on the ground :P I love love love the cafe too
I love watching Australian you tubers because I can relate to so many things like "time zone" and no public bins.
Really, honestly, so gorgeous. I would spend forever here if it were a real place
Dave & Buster's is the biggest chain of Arcades right now that I know of
I like the builds being split into parts like this, I say keep doing it!
I love this build... I also love the slower speed. Can't wait to download this and start playing... thank you. You are a genius.
Love the mismatched chairs in the cafe :)
The speed is really nice! No problem that the videos get longer: more for us to enjoy!
i love this lot sooo much as well!! :) it's awesome, that's perfect detailling, i'll definitely download it for into your world, it's soo great... can't wait for more houses for your world, you're doing this so great! :)
and to me it doesn't matter if you're doing two videos by 30min oder one video for an hour... or an 3 hour video, i'll watch everything anyways^^ you're great at entertaining ;)
Looks lovely with all the the colors and little accents awesome job:)
Love the arcade. A wall of prizes behind the counter would have been a fun idea.
I love these types of community lots, they're so cute and quaint! :D
Timezone is around everywhere i know in Australia, doesn't sell food, but then there's places like AMF bowling that does have arcade machines, like racing car games, whack-a-mole, and the claw machines. AMF also tend to have lazer tag areas too :P
In Cleethorpes in UK, the seafront street is like full of arcades, and the beach front has even more arcades and such.
Looks amazing! Cant wait to see the museum and library
Fantastic video! I hope all of your lots for this world will be as detailed as the first 2!
LOVE IT! Amazing job James
I love this so much really the cafe because its so colorful omg i cant get over it
In the UK, there is at least 5 arcades at every beach town, boardwalk or resort. There still really huge here, I don't know about anywhere else. There's this one site in Bognor Regis which has this HUGE tent that is filled with arcade machines. There everywhere!
In England on the piers and stuff we have arcades
ugh watching these are making me crave summer so badly. but this lot looks really great and would go there myself if it was real :)
this is my favorite so far >,< i am hooked on your builds :)
Streetlights inside the columns, genius !
Bravo James I love this a lot it definitely had that islandy feel to it!
Great job James! Love the café, gave me the vacation feels ^^
You better out this in the final version of Aluna Island, it's just so brilliant!
I love the café, gym and the consignment store. It looks amazingly detailed and I will download ur world when every single building is finished being created by u & ur fans. Because I am soooo terrible at building. LOL! I looooovvvvveeee ur World.
This lot is srsly gorgeous!!
I miss arcades! Not tiny ones in the mall or movie theater, but actual arcades. So much fun!
OUTSTANDING!!! Great Job James :)
This lot is amazing... I am very excited and looking forward to your future builds :D
"No wait, no I didn't. I am completely talking crap." LMAO I don't know why I found that so funny
Very awesome. However, I would like to issue a challenge to you... Since you love challenges so much, maybe you should try limiting one expansion pack per building. Absolutely amazing James!!!
"I think a bomb going off is better than having litter around" XD
On one of the lots you should make a beach bungalow house! That would be a great starter home.
Woah! This looks absolutely amazing! :O
Great! Can't wait for the worlds full release
I believe that there is an arcade in my favorite mall, but I never see anyone there. I suppose people got tired of paying every time they wanted to get their ass kicked in Guitar Hero? I dunno.
Loved this build! So, so beautiful!
Love love love the detail!
I'm so impressed with this!
Amazing James wow....

This is the best community lot ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There isn't actually an arcade near me (other than the tiny one in the bowling alley) but I absolutely LOVE arcades! If I go anywhere that has an arcade in it, I'll stay in the arcade the entire day. I love this so much! So different to see from you
Amazing video. And where I live, in US, we used to have a cool arcade in our mall called "Aladdin's Castle" -- though it looked nothing like a castle ;)
This speed is very good, keep as is.
Aw man, there was a massive arcade near mine and now it's been replaced by a cinema. Right next to another cinema. I miss that arcade.
Awesome build. Did you purposely leave a coffee cup on the floor in the cafe?
You're on about a lot of arcades being part of a bigger establishment. Cici's pizza buffet has a tiny arcade in the back. Our movie theater has a slightly larger arcade. There's Chuck e Cheese's and Dave & Buster's that are food restaurants that have arcades on the side. The Circus Circus casino hotel has an arcade for the kiddies to pretend gamble in. That's amazing James I would love to get your world
AMAZING JAMES!
Beautiful.
Love it! I think a good idea would've been to add a tanning area with the tanning booths from seasons. Idk. Just a thought. :)
The only places I've seen arcade games nowadays is in Holiday Spots like Butlins or Bowling Alleys
You should have added some food stands from island paradise/seasons
I really like it!!
I LOVE IT! Awesome job James! :-)
who is that at 17:08?
Can you do your next lets build a house on Aluna Island?
Other than Chuck-E-Cheese the only other arcade I still know of is called Dave and Busters, but it leans towards the young adult crowd. But arcades still pop up in Miniature Golf Courses and places that have go-carts, batting cages, laser tag, ect.

James, for the graffiti maybe you can try holding CTRL+SHIFT and click the graffiti area, and see if any options pop up in the menu. I discovered this menu on accident when playing with my resort. Thats how I changed the colors anyway.
the café looks like something from death in paradise (tv show)its so cool
Still My favorite 😍
What an amazing lot :) good job!
I was wondering, are you going to make the ambitions lots (salon, fire department, junkyard, I think I am missing one or two lol)?
The other Ambitions lots. I am only wondering since you made the consignment shop :)
He said in the previous part that he wasn't going or planning to add those in.
Dude u r an amazing builder in sims
Time Zone is in the Philippines too!! :)
I am so jealous of your object catalogue :') my laptop can only run Late Night + Pets.
Amazing job!
I feel like Deligracy really got on you about detailing your lots hehe
the store is a big mess, but this is why I love it!!
This is just a suggestion but I thought a really cool idea for a park would be a golf park!! Please do it!!
I like how its slower I can see the items you choose better
are you going to be building dog parks or cat jungles?
you should do a apartment lot next
