Looks very cozy and gezellig,I like the countryside.I live in Venlo(Limburg)near the German border. In less than 20 minutes you're in Germany by bike and the scenery is beautiful. Living in the province(as you're not living in the Randstad)is much more relaxed and laidback.
Please visit Friesland again in spring or summer, one of the best provinces in The Netherlands. In big cities you can also find AirBnB’s for this price, but they’re used as facilities for (illegal) prostitution 😢
