Since I moved to Canada from the US I would compare the prices because taxes here is higher. There are what we call weekly flyers that we can check online every Thursday for each store for good deals.We stock up on produce and items on sale. Your staying in Makati area , Where the Elite and Famous lived. If Im not mistaken they have also the highest market value of land. So , the prices in that area is quite high .But compare to other Cities in Manila ,, Makati has the lowest crime rate maybe because they also have strict implementation of Peace and Order.

fruits and vegetable are expensive in manila even vegetable that came from nearby provinces is expensive, coz the product is passing through to middleman traders before it reach the market which causes the price high!
Gardenia bread in green plastic is also my favorite bread. Here in Manila I bought also today Gardenia bread costs 96 pesos also. Prices are high here in Manila.

Hello new subscriber here. Yes, All prices go up on December because of the Christmas Season. More so in Manila. Its much costly to live in Manila, BUT its good to just have a vacation there. Fruits and veggies are abundant in the provinces so its not expensive there compared ti Manila. Enjoy your vacation. ❤😊

The purchasing power of peso, compared to davao vs manila is a little bit lower on the latter because of differing prices of goods, anyway enjoy your shopping.

Vegetavles there in SM Jazz is Low quality and. very expensive. When in Makati CBD, I find Landmark to have the best deals and better quality. Rustan’s is also expensive but sometimes better than SM in terms of quality.
