- Hey guys! Happy national ceiling fan day! This is my video special for this year which will update you on the ceiling fans that are installed in my house.
This year the fans are:
- Harbor breeze armitage (2)
- Casablanca Delta III (converted to single speed and added remote)
- Casablanca Ventura II
- Harbor breeze, westinghouse hugger frankenfan
- Harbor breeze Tilghmann II
- TAT 42" Spinner Fan
- Casa Vieja Deville

What happened to the harbor breeze calera?
The capacitor died so it had to go

Well, it's grandma's house and she said either one there or one in the living room but not both so this was our compromise. There have been changes since, though, so I'll probably update soon.

What happen to the fans that have been replaced?
Most end up somewhere else or back in storage. I rarely get rid of any lol

How did you got the Casablanca delta on a remote
vf&m did a tutorial! you can convert dead IT fans to a remote fairly easily
@@fansofpnw yeah, we have an old Casablanca Victorian and the IT has a mind of its own 😂 I tell visitors the fan is haunted 😂

I saw on the hunter original there was a balacer did it used to wobble?

That origional looks shorter to me did you cut the blades or it is just the angle makes it look off?
I actually used a stencil and made those blades from scratch since the original ones are too long with the angled ceiling

What happened to the Glass on the Armitage’s?
We took them off! We had grow lights on there for a bit so we could have beans and stuff growing out there but we just never put them back on

It's actually a what I call a frankenfan. It's spare parts from a bunch of different fans. It's the motor housing for a 42" harbor breeze armitage, the motor and blades from a westinghouse petite (i think?) and the globe and pulls from a mainstays hugger. found the motor for free somewhere, and put the rest together with spare parts I had laying around :)
