- My longest hunt to date, I thought it would never shine but thankfully it did!! I started this hunt two days after I got the games, it took over 425 hours, I also like to mention I didn't run into any wild shinies during my play through!!
I just realised last night that I would be uploading this video on Mewtwo's birthday which is awesome!! Remember to keep going in your hunts however long they may take, it will shine eventually!! So enjoy the vid and I'll see you next time!! Good luck in all of your hunts!

@@mikeya091 it's when people shiny hunt without the use of methods like the Shiny Charm, Masuda, etc. so the odds of getting a shiny are 1/4096 in Gen 6+ and 1/8192 in Gen 1-5

Glad to see it’s not just me. Been on this hunt for like half a year and honestly it taking this long made me stop playing my game... still haven’t even completed the game nor found found shiny mewtwo yet and don’t think I ever will.

Omg I just found the shiny mewtwo I'm so happy. I feel like crying. Also it's like 12 am and I just started yelling and my dad came over to yell at me but when he saw the shiny mewtwo (he is a shiny hunter too) he was like. We'll talk about it on the morning and just left me alone

26000 soft resets that's hella long I have gotten extremely lucky with the two soft reset hunts I have done so far both in let's go I got them after idk how many resets but 1 hour for articono and 3 hours 40 minutes for Mewtwo
You know a hunt is long when you finish it and forgot how to play the game
Generally how long did it take you? Like in days, because I'm not counting the number of resets.
Oh this took 2-3 months, hunting it 15 hours on some days it was along hunt I must say haha

So I’m nervous about something. I battled him a few times to make sure I could beat him if I found a shiny. I never saved after. I then transferred over a mewtwo to complete my dex. I notice now I don’t even have the option to see the cutscene anymore. Like I don’t have to click plus to skip it just doesn’t load. Before I reset 1 million times, do you think there is an issue here?
Is the Mewtwo still there? If so what happens if you battle him ?
@@ShinyHunterSandslash ya he’s still there and I can battle him like normal. I just don’t see the cinematic scene at all. I went ahead and caught a couple and took a snapshot of their stats. Each one I caught (then turned off game without saving) had different stats so I guess it’s fine. Just off the scene doesn’t happen at all.

if u masterball main hand and pokeball offhand , u can just throw the offhand pokeball but the circle will be green around mewtwo

Just shiny hunted this mewtwo with full odds (no shiny Charm) and got a shiny mewtwo in under 200 resets i got really luckly on mine. 26,000+ resets is insane

So I put your reset number in a shiny tracker. 90% for you was 12,530 resets ago. And that exact reset number is 99% for a shiny mewtwo.
What's the average amount of getting it with a lure and A shiny charm

No the opposite. Full odds means you get the shiny at 1/4096, the shiny charm increases the odds.

I am also hunting shiny mewtwo full odds with no shiny charm and i am so scared i will fail it
I'm also hunting him right now sitting at 3,240 SRs. Do a couple practice runs and get through the fighting phase to see if you can consistently beat him. Do you still have your master ball? If you do it's pretty much impossible to fail it at the catching phase. If you don't have your masterball. Be safe and stock up on at least 500 balls, it's better to go overkill than to lose a shiny mewtwo. I've seen mewtwo take up to 200 balls before.
Reckless CV Yeah I have my master ball and I have done some trial runs before and was able to defeat it at about 2 mins left. I am still scared though. I have been hunting it for days with no luck. I really want to send it to my shield game
@@Guilma_ Yeah I'm confident I will get him but the what if still scares me too. Another tip is getting catch combos on chanseys in cerulean cave is a good way to level up too so you can beat him faster. I've been hunting him for 2 weeks now today. Just stay patient, and eventually he will come. They always shine when you least expect it haha
