as to the 5+ to hit thing, I felt it was weird at first too but think I like it cause then its very easy to always remember, I'd need to see how many modifiers there are though, I like the system of needing to get just one success and "modifiers" are just adding additional dice to the roll
It does make things more simple and easy to remember, but I think they could have done 5+ at long and 4+ at short and it would still be easy to remember
Great podcast guys! I really like the structure, the fair and honest assessment and the general feel of the show. Would love to send you guys a copy of Contact Front for you guys to review. Also happy to come on and chat if you are looking for guests. Keep up the great work! - Carl
I don't think we really did a side by side comparison of them (that would have taken even more time), but I believe I made a few comments on their differences. -FK
A big difference is you feel you have more control over what you can do in Achtung Panzer than in What a Tanker, available actions are not left up to the chance of a dice roll.
It was fun testing it. Need to play again later

Thoroughly enjoyed the vid , my only complaint is the misspelling of ' Achtung '

Good catch, correction made.
Sorry about that. Fixed! Thanks for your comment. -FK

Warlord is putting on an Achtung Panzer team tournament at LVO January 2025.
Player Packet is basically on pages 80 to 87 “On Campaign”
You've compared Achtung-Panzer! to Tank Wars... how does it compare to What a Tanker?

Looks like I'm getting a new game...
We think it's a great game! We both had fun reviewing it. I would recommend it! -FK
Pretty sure you get a PDF if you order a rule book
