I was genuinely interested in the whole philosophy of Korean beauty because it's a perfect match for my minimal style, so I was so happy with these products! ☺️👍 x

I recommend the midnight blue calming cream! I have the older version in a pot instead of a bottle and it's so good for the colder months. It's says you should only apply if needed but in winter I use it all over :)

Love your reviews as always. As a Korean, I often see a lot of western or more English speaking channels not really understand korean makeup. I really appreciated your approach to new products. I definitely agree with your 3ce multi-layer (forgot their names 😂) being very bold and dry but they help to achieve that hangover look that is popular. ALSO YES THE SCENTS. Some of them can be quite overwhelming. This was an objective view on korean makeup without being over-fetishy or presenting with a lot of xenophobia. Would love for you to try korean skincare (ie. innisfree (Katie Jane Hughes likes some of their makeup), Nature Republic, Skinfood, Klairs, Cosrx, Laniege, etc.)!!! But of course, buy the products you want to and not because of the review. As much as I too love French Pharmacy skincare, Korea’s skincare is far more advanced than any country, so I definitely have some of my all time favorite skincare products that are korean. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Ella, I really appreciate this feedback! The products aren't gimmicky to me at all - they may be in cute packaging but the entire premise of sheer colour and minimal makeup suits me perfectly. I think minimal makeup in general isn't well represented on RUclips, so perhaps it's why some people review products like this and complain about there being 'no colour payoff' etc, but they've missed the point of the look it's meant to achieve ☺️👍 x
I do agree with what you commented, "Korea's skincare is far more advanced than any other countries...". As a Filipino, whose country has been influenced by Korean skincare products and makeup, I can guarantee that most Korean brands give justice to their product quality, result, and packaging.
The Etude House Dear Darling tints are almost always only used by high school students because they’re cheap it’s kind of like the thick cakey maybelline or revlon foundation or mascara people use in the US during school then dump away the minute they start to get more skilled with makeup 😂😂😂
Ahh interesting! Well if you like the idea of a watercolour lip you can certainly use them at any age 😄 (I don't use Maybelline or Revlon products personally, but I know many makeup artists and bloggers still swear by the different Maybelline mascaras) x
Whenever I see videos of beauty gurus trying Korean beauty makeup, it's mostly been what's in the major American brand stores. This is the first time I've seen a wider range from a mid-range price 3CE to smaller "road shop" brands such as Etude! Would love to see your reviews on brands that do both skincare and makeup such as Innisfree, Missha and lesser known brands such as banila co. and IOPE as well as high end brands such as Sulhwasoo. Thank you for your quality and in depth reviews as always!
Love that you're branching out. Loved this video and your sensibilities and aesthetic continue to be perfectly aligned with mine which is so refreshing on a platform oversaturated with trends. Can't wait to see this channel grow and change
Thank you so much Harriet! Really appreciate the thoughtful feedback. Not much change planned for my content - I've always had a strong sense of my style and don't fall for trends in fashion or beauty, I just enjoy finding new ways to explore minimal makeup 👌 x
I love how all the packaging and colors of every product works together. The thumbnail alone with the pale "glossier" pinks, bright pinky reds, and whites is so aesthetically pleasing!
I love how you try to experiment with different kinds of makeup. This is an example for a lot of youtubers, don't just try korean beauty because it's popular right now but because it is actually something you like. Maybe something fun for you to try, korean skincare is one of the best and maybe something new for you to try. Maybe Cosrx or Neogen. Wonderful video as always but I think you know that by know❤
Thank you so much! Very well said. I've never been one to fall for trends, in beauty or in fashion, but this is a style of makeup that works so well with my own 👌 Would love to try Korean skincare in future! x
Ah i love all your reviews! Normally with other youtubers, I lose interest and skip most of it, but with you, you keep viewers engaged with your brief yet informative commentary 😘🥰✨ great review as always!
The colors they like to use to brighten their complexion, such as vibrant orange, pink and red, tend to be intentionally noticable, but products that arent lip or cheek colors are formulated to be more natural. This is because in korea wearing a lot of makeup will incite questioning and is generally looked down upon
I'm super happy that you got to try Korean makeup :D I'm Korean, and since I live abroad and can't go home often, I buy a lot of stuff off of YesStyle too. My recommendations are Bbia's lip products (ALL of their ranges), CLIO's single shadows (shimmery ones in particular), The Saem's tip concealers, Etude House's eyeshadow palettes, Peripera's lip tints (airy the velvet series and ink the gelato series), and 3CE's lip products (lipsticks in particular), blushes and their glitter eyeliners (the best!). Also, I am curious about the Take A Layer pot, but I'm a bit hesitating since their price range is in between road shops (the Korean take of drugstore brands) and high end. Gonna revisit my wishlist after the video!
Thank you so much Ji, great to hear you're a YesStyle fan too! So many lovely recommendations there, I'll definitely keep them on my wishlist for next time 👌 Thank you! x
I've just got that TonyMoly cream blush. Soooo beautiful. I've never noticed these kinds of color. I thought it might be too dark but it looks amazing on my skintone. Love your videos!
I really vibe with korean beauty and glossier ideals as well, minimalist, natural, long wearing. Currently I use self tanner as a subtle neutral eyeshadow, so that speaks volumes about my philosophy, lol. I don't like to fuss with makeup, usually I go with no makeup, actually. So lip tints are very up my alley, it's just hard to find one for my dry sensitive skin! Currently I use baby lips cherry me, I use lip balm anyway and reapplication is just slapping on lip balm and you're done.
I LOVE Peripera's airy ink velvet formula but I'm not a big fan of their color range and the picture of how it's supposed to look is very deceiving 🤦 in person they're too bright or very muted. If someone wants to try the formula I would say go for the reds, it's the safer option in my opinion and only if you like bright reds with a orange undertone oh and beware of the scent mine smells and tastes like perfume but despite that I love it because it makes my lips look so smooth and I only wear it in summer 💋
I'm so excited to see this video pop up! I feel like you would love Korean skincare products too, there are so many good quality at a relatively affordable price range compared to Western brands.
@@matildaonvideo I bet you didn't know that the two-tone lip bar was popularized in the Korean drama Descendants of the Sun. Actress Song Hye-Kyo was seen using it in one of the episodes. She also used a Laneige cushion compact (I don't know which one).
Yay K-Beauty! You were able to get a lot of products that are well loved by the community~ The Peripera Airy Ink Velvet looks great as a blush as well! It’s not the product’s intended purpose, but I like to blend a bit of it all over my cheeks. I wonder if it’ll work better on you if you use it as a blush? The color looks really pretty with East Asian skin tones so I’m sad to hear that it didn’t suit you as much, but I guess that’s what’s fun about every product. Some works well for others, and some don’t. Thanks for this review, Matilda!
Thank you Winny! YesStyle had such a huge range so I was so happy to be able to pick up everything on my wishlist 👌 Think I just chose the wrong colour in the Airy Ink Velvet so I'll try another next time! Thanks for the blush tip x
Hey there! I'm a Korean and I really appreciate you for reviewing the products of my country's brands. Etude House products are popular for its cheap price in Korea, and 3CE is one of the best selling brands among teenagers and 20s. There so many good quality brands in Korea and thank you for your reviews! Have a nice day:)
i personally like skinfood peach multifinishing powder. it's white so it definitely requires some blending, but if you have products that have darker shades than your natural skin, it's a good way to lighten it up as well as give you that matte look. it's also pretty cheap. i think i got mine for about $10-11 on amazon and it's a lot of product. I've had mine for over two years now.
I am so excited to see you dip your toes into the K beauty segment! I really hope you get to try some skincare too, and I was surprised you didn't pick a mascara! Hope to see more of this from you Matilda! Thank you!
This is great! I got into Korean skincare and have skincare youtubers to guide me on the most popular Korean skincare products but had no youtuber to introduce me to popular Korean makeup. Also can we agree that Korean makeup style makes you look so young and fresh? It’s so flattering!
Not gonna lie, I got super excited when i saw this video pop up with korean makeup inte the title! You’re the only makeupreview channel I watch cause you’re so straight to the point but you also say what product didn’t work for you but who it might look better on. Some more korean makeup or even korean skincare videos would be so fun to watch but whatever you do I’m already sold on it. Keep going!
Matilda, I loved that your reviews were fair, honest, and to the point (none of those 30-minute-long-videos-that-could-have-been-summed-up-in-5). For those reasons, I decided to purchase a few things mentioned in your video. I'm looking forward to testing them. Thank you!
Thank you so much Tammy, so nice to hear that! Really appreciate the kind words. I don't time to watch those 30 minute videos that only cover 6 products either 😂 so I always try to keep mine concise! x
I love how you did your review with an open mind and try the products without preconceived notion that K-beauty items are awful unlike most beauty gurus here on RUclips. So glad that some of them worked really well for you! Did you know that L’oreal recently acquired Nanda Co, the parent company of Stylenanda (3CE)?
Thank you so much, really appreciate that! ☺️ This definitely wasn't intended to be gimmicky, cutesy or another 'RUclipsr tries a trend' video. In fact, I never go for trends in fashion or beauty because I have a good sense of my style. I always believed Korean Beauty would be a great fit with my minimal makeup preferences, and was so happy to find some products I love! Also that's SO interesting about L'Oreal, I wonder if we're about to see some of these brands blow up even more worldwide x
I really love the way you review products like these! A lot of MUAs apply these in a standard way and tell the "negatives" or whatever they find in regular makeup that's missing out in these!
Yay! So happy to finally see a video on korean beauty products. I love korean make up, especially the laneige bb cushion pore control. Looking forward to see more videos on korean makeup and maybe, some skincare too
Korean beauty is 10 years ahead of the rest of the beauty world. I was thrilled to see this video, especially since I have really only tried Korean skincare (which I order from Yestyle.com (and Chuusi - a Canadian website that sells Asian beauty products you might like) . I loved your thorough details Matilda (including pigment and wear time). I love cream multi-taskers, but I am very selective since they often don't last on my oily skin (or they have coconut oil which is bad for acne-prone skin).
Thank you! Great to hear you use YesStyle 👍 I try to be careful and not mention wear time much in my videos for exactly that reason, it really depends on skin type (not to mention other factors like climate, hydration etc) x
@most beauty gurus who review Korean products: this is how you review the products, by focusing on the actual product and not the packaging! Such a good video Matilda 😊
I'm not particularly sensitive to scents so regularly have to go back and think about it when people ask 'what does this lipstick smell like?' etc, but all of these are SO strong so I wanted to mention it! 👍 x
Laneige, Peripera, and Etude House are three of the brands I really want to try. They're often mentioned as some of the favorite brands among K-beauty fans.
I love how she went through them fast but still demonstrating the color on skin. For a lot of other videos they are so long I always want to skip parts of it, but not with this, perfect length
I’m subscribed to hundreds of beauty youtubers but you will always be one of my top favorites. I love your aesthetic, the way you review the products, and I really appreciate how genuinely and how nicely you reply to the video comments. Your replies are always so insightful and humble, it’s really just a breath of fresh air and I’m so happy I stumbled upon your channel a few months back. ♥️
it's a dream you're trying out korean beauty! i've always thought it would suit your taste in makeup quite well! i need to get my hands on that 3CE cheektone blush, it's to die for! As a lover of k-beauty some of my favorite products are: VDL primers, perfect for giving your skin a nice glow, Labiotte bullet lipsticks (i'm not a huge fan of most k-beauty lip tints, too drying! but the bullet formulas are great), tony moly get it water bar lip tints have the most amazing formula but they haven't been on yesstyle in a while and most etude house mascaras are amazing. (and cheap!) i'm a big fan of korean skincare as well. It's actually done quite a lot for my dry skin! Dear Klairs is a heavenly brand. I've had zero bad experiences with their products though my favorites are their foam cleanser, supple preparation facial toner (unscented), and their rich soothing cream! My favorite skincare product, hands down, is the PyunKang Yul essence toner. If I could bathe in that stuff, I would. I soak my face in it after washing it and even soak a very thin cotton pad (that i got in a massive pack from yesstyle as well) and leave it on super dry patches for five minutes or so. It's a trick that's done wonders for my skin. I'd love to get my hands on other PyunKang Yul products soon. Anyway this is a very long and drawn out comment! I hope I'm somewhat helpful ^^
I definetly recommend holika holika qater drop tint balm. It feels cool applying it on your lips a d it's super long lasting. I also love cushion foundations. They are moisturizer, sunscreen and foundation in one so they are great for reapplying sunscreen throughout the day. I recommend pony effect, laneige and innisfree. 😘💕
ooh a'pieu is my favourite too! this shade is the most popular out of all of them, though since my natural lip colour is a little bit paler, the colour doesn't show up as much. but i do like the formula - you don't need a mirror at all, and i like that it has a little bit of a glossy finish, especally when it's paired with lip balm, it's the best combination! makes your lips feel very soft
Thank you Magali! 😄 I've heard great things about Korean skincare but unfortunately (or fortunately) I'm very happy with my routine this year, so I'm not looking to branch out and try too many new things x
Thank you so much for your thorough review! I appreciate your honesty ♥️ I just got into korean beauty products and skincare and I gotta it’s way better than other products I’ve come across. My favorite brand is A’Pieu and favorite line collection of them is Water Light Tint because it doesn’t give me a bad allergic reaction, it smells nice, and keeps my lips well moisturized.
I haven't tried many drugstore blushes unfortunately Leigh! Always very honest about my love of luxury beauty so I don't use many drugstore products. You can see my edit in a Drugstore Favourites video on my channel 👍 x
As a fan of k-beauty, I’m excited to see some of their products on your channel :) Can’t wait for you to try their skincare if/when you get the chance!
I adore cushion foundations, blushers, bronzers and highlights! Undoubtedly the best concept I have ever come across. Laniege recently launched in my country, and I love the bubblegum lip sleeping mask!
Ahhh the swatches are to die for! I find your videos to be really relaxing and i’ve always loved your style of video. I have that peri pera airy ink velvet in that shade too, it’s become one of my favorites.
I was actually really surprised how many of these I’ve seen before, but never had a good idea of the consistency until I saw you swatching them close-up. I finally tried a 3CE multi-pot just this weekend too!
Whenever i want to buy lip tint, i always watch ur lip products reviews. It's really helpful. But can you make it more details please. Like how long it last or the packaging maybe? Thank you 😁💕
Thank you! Unfortunately it's always very difficult to comment on wear time as it varies enormously from person to person. It often depends on the condition of your lips, whether you apply lip balm/lip liner, whether you're eating/drinking while wearing the product etc 👄 x
Yayyyy I’m so happy you tried Korean makeup❤️❤️ that would be super cool if you could try more face and eye products too! Klairs has wonderful makeup and skincare I think you would really like
I'm so tickled to see this video just as I was considering buying a few of these products - namely the 3CE multi-pots that I've had my eye on for a while! Thank you again for an informative review, I wasn't aware of quite how matte they were so I may consider buying one to test out, as opposed to all of the colours I would like from the get-go.
Thank you Sunny! Great to hear, glad it was helpful! 👍 I know I love the look of their other shades but not sure the formula is one that works for my style x
I live in Vietnam, so K beauty influenced us a lots in our make up, we have a lot of K beauty make-up products that’re lying around in in our daily life. I would recommend you try on Clio Kill Cover Cushion, The Saem Concealer, BBiA Asia Edition liquid lipstick, Rom&nd eyeshadow pallete, Merzy Eyeliner, Inisfree eyebrow pencil
This is exactly the kind of makeup/makeup product review channel I was looking for. It's so relaxing to watch your videos. Well researched and produced 💕💕💕
i’m so glad i found your channel!! i’ve been looking for a makeup channel like yours for years. I’m also really into minimal makeup and your reviews are so clean and to the point. ❤️
You need the Elf aqua beauty lip tint. I wear the shade rouge radiance every day and no fragrance! I also wear the shades red orange wash and dewy nude but the one I mentioned first is very me and I have a feeling you'll love it too. It's a super sheer classic red
HOLY GOD YES I didnt even dare to dream you would review this! so happy, thank you i really wanted to get some k beauty especially the take a layers and i have a very similar taste to you this is an ideal video ❤️
So happy to see you diving into k beauty, I saw your post on Instagram and I was so excited! Great video as always :) a k-beauty brand I've been trying out and looking into is Dear Dahlia, they have little multi palettes, with both shimmer and matte eyeshadows, but also a more creamy, less bright version of the 3ce multipots. Their colors overall are more wearable, and they're cruelty free! They're what would be considered a luxury brand I think, which is reflected in the packaging for sure, but I would LOVE to see you review them!
Yes!! I love the water light tint. I use it a lot and it’s so nice. I have a slightly different color, CR01, and it looks so natural when applied lightly in one layer. I have always wanted to try the 3CE products. Since my skin is more oily they might work nicely for me. I do also find the etude house tints to be sticky. They were kind of my first delve into kbeauty a while ago. The Bbia eyeliners are quite nice. I have bought a lot of shades and will probably keep on buying more as I run out. Thanks for reviewing all these products! I really find your reviews relaxing and satisfying to watch.
Since u're fairer than me, I think Holly Hock would be a good match for u. It looks barbie pink in the pot, but comes off a really nice light pink when u apply it on ur face with ur fingers. Diotima is VERY ORANGE so I wouldnt really recommend that. I usually mix the 2 together and it really suits East Asian skintone.
Unfortunately I'm not qualified to give any advice for other skin tones! I'm sadly not a makeup artist or an expert, just a regular person who loves beauty so I only know what works for me x
Yasssssss, Asian beauty is so ahead of the game with formulas and packaging. (Sometimes lacking with sustainability, vegan, or cruelty free options, but hopefully Western and Asian strengths can meet in the middle someday!) Matilda, I think you'd love the tinted balms from j-beauty brand canmake. I just picked up a few from YesStyle last month and I'm obsessed. I'd easily compare them to the Fresh Sugar Lip tints. So good.
You should try the peripera pure blushed velvet cheek! There are definitely one of my favourite cream formulas! Really recommend the shade #8 appealing dry coral ❤️
Skincare and Lip products are my faves from. K-beauty. I highly recommend the 3CE Matte mood recipe matte lipsticks they're a gorgeous MLBB nude shades, they're insanely pigmented but a bit drying and tugging on the lips. Make sure you you moisturized ur lips, it's creamier counterpart are the Clio Rouge Heel Velvet lipsticks. For the Peripera I recommend the (regular) Ink Velvet because the are completely budge-proof and 12hr longwear is no joke. The (Airy) Ink velvets disappears into thin air after I drink and eat.
I have the 3CE cushion blush too in the exact same shade! It looks really natural when blended out and gives such a nice flush to the cheeks. I can't wait to try the other colors :)
Your videos are absolutely amazing. I love the in depth yet concise reviews you give. To the point, but still love hearing you talk about the product. Ahh idk ! I just love it :D
I haven't tried them unfortunately! I know they're very pigmented so youonly need a tiny tiny bit. Maybe try applying it to the back of your hand, then dab your finger or brush into it so you pick up less product 👍 x
This. This is how you properly review foreign makeup.
Thank you so much! Really appreciate that ☺️👏 x

Thank you! I'll be trying some more Korean Makeup in a video very soon 😄 x
Korea is slaying the game rn
Leading the way in the beauty world! 👏 x
I love how all the packaging and colors of every product works together. The thumbnail alone with the pale "glossier" pinks, bright pinky reds, and whites is so aesthetically pleasing!
Thank you Audrey! Definitely a peachy, pinky colour mood happening here 👌 x
I've never been one to fall for trends, in beauty or in fashion, but this is a style of makeup that works so well with my own 👌 Would love to try Korean skincare in future! x
I love YesStyle what a great partnership!
Thank you so much Sarah! Really appreciate that ☺️ It was a pleasure to work with them! x
Ah i love all your reviews! Normally with other youtubers, I lose interest and skip most of it, but with you, you keep viewers engaged with your brief yet informative commentary 😘🥰✨ great review as always!
Thank you so much Ria, such great feedback! Really appreciate it 😄 x
Yaaassss K-beauty! I haven’t watched the video but I think you’re gonna love them, Matilda. They’re usually very subtle and natural ❤️😊
The colors they like to use to brighten their complexion, such as vibrant orange, pink and red, tend to be intentionally noticable, but products that arent lip or cheek colors are formulated to be more natural. This is because in korea wearing a lot of makeup will incite questioning and is generally looked down upon
Subtle and natural is right up my street! 👌 x
was pleasantly surprised to see you try korean make up!
once again, a phenomenal video with wonderful and helpful commentary.
thank you.
Thank you so much! Really appreciate that ☺️ x
So many lovely recommendations there, I'll definitely keep them on my wishlist for next time 👌 Thank you! x
Take a layer are awesome. Great for on the go makeup. They are cream to powder and not drying at all. Last about 6-7 hrs
Hey I’m also interested in buying k-beauty things can you please recommend good websites where we can buy k Beaty products from
I've just got that TonyMoly cream blush. Soooo beautiful. I've never noticed these kinds of color. I thought it might be too dark but it looks amazing on my skintone. Love your videos!
Thank you! ☺️ Glad you're enjoying that shade x
Thanks for sharing Jasmin! Glad we have the same minimal approach ☺️ x
At least I wasn't the only one who got a bit tricked by the colours! Thank you for the tip, I'll try a red next time 👌 x
I'm so excited to see this video pop up! I feel like you would love Korean skincare products too, there are so many good quality at a relatively affordable price range compared to Western brands.
Thank you! Hope to try some Korean skincare in future 👍 x
I ADORE the Sugarball Cheek Colours ... own all 5 shades haha! And the 3CE stylenanda cheek colour in the bronze shade is a FANTASTIC cream bronzer!!
Glad you're a big fan of them Arna, that's a ringing endorsement! 😄 I'll have to check out the rest of the shades again haha x
I love the Laniege Two-tone lip bar. It makes a gradient lip easy.
Same here Jasmine! It's a great product 👍 x
@@matildaonvideo I bet you didn't know that the two-tone lip bar was popularized in the Korean drama Descendants of the Sun. Actress Song Hye-Kyo was seen using it in one of the episodes. She also used a Laneige cushion compact (I don't know which one).
Can’t wait to use more Korean makeup Thank you so much Matilda!! 🙏🏻♥️
Thank you Ana! Hope you enjoy trying it too 😄 x
Thank you so much Lisena! I had such a good time trying K-Beauty for the first time this year and hope to test out more brands in 2020 ☺️👍 x
Would love to kNow aBout them because there are brands and skin cares that we don't know as only trending items are always reViewed or videoed
i personally like skinfood peach multifinishing powder. it's white so it definitely requires some blending, but if you have products that have darker shades than your natural skin, it's a good way to lighten it up as well as give you that matte look. it's also pretty cheap. i think i got mine for about $10-11 on amazon and it's a lot of product. I've had mine for over two years now.
Thanks for sharing Amanda! 👍 x
I am so excited to see you dip your toes into the K beauty segment! I really hope you get to try some skincare too, and I was surprised you didn't pick a mascara!
Hope to see more of this from you Matilda! Thank you!
Thank you Ashwasti! I've only used one mascara for years so I don't shop around in that category, but I love playing with lip and cheek colours 👌 x
This is great! I got into Korean skincare and have skincare youtubers to guide me on the most popular Korean skincare products but had no youtuber to introduce me to popular Korean makeup. Also can we agree that Korean makeup style makes you look so young and fresh? It’s so flattering!
Young and fresh is the key! 👏 x
Keep going!
Thank you so much, such nice feedback! Definitely hoping to try more Korean makeup or skincare soon 👍 x
i have that peach blush cushion on now. it’s in my everyday makeup routine!
Glad you like it too! 👍 x
Wowwwww I really like this video!!! Im Korean so I've watched a lot of K beauty videos in my whole life and this is the best reivew ever!
Thank you so much! That really means a lot ☺️ x
I really love the way you review products like these! A lot of MUAs apply these in a standard way and tell the "negatives" or whatever they find in regular makeup that's missing out in these!
Thank you! Always trying to keep it fairly positive here, because what might not work for me will always work for other people ☺️👍 x
Korean makeup really is aesthetically pleasing.
Absolutely! 👍 x
I got myself a ink lip tint and I absolutely loved it. It looked amazing and compliments my skin tone. It lasts for a long time.
Glad you like it! 👍 x
Yay! So happy to finally see a video on korean beauty products. I love korean make up, especially the laneige bb cushion pore control. Looking forward to see more videos on korean makeup and maybe, some skincare too
Thank you Jasmine! Definitely hope to try more in future 👍 x
I love Korean beauty and skin care. My skin is so good after using this stuff and I suffered from acne most my life.
So good to hear that Gigi! I'd love to hear some product recommendations from you if I try their skincare brands in future 👍 x
@most beauty gurus who review Korean products: this is how you review the products, by focusing on the actual product and not the packaging!
Such a good video Matilda 😊
Thank you so much Rach! Really appreciate that ☺️ x
I loved how you mentioned scent (a sensitive area of mine) and answered all the questions I would have had.
Absolutely, they definitely have a big following! 👏 x
I could listen to your voice all day. Thank you for your review ☺️☺️
Ohh thank you so much! ☺️ x
I love how she went through them fast but still demonstrating the color on skin. For a lot of other videos they are so long I always want to skip parts of it, but not with this, perfect length
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed this style 😄 x
Ohh Anne, so lovely of you! This has made my day ☺️ Thank you, I'm very lucky to have such kind viewers like you! x
it's a dream you're trying out korean beauty! i've always thought it would suit your taste in makeup quite well! i need to get my hands on that 3CE cheektone blush, it's to die for!
Thank you so much for the suggestions! Will try to come back to this comment in future if I'm planning to try some Korean skincare 👌 x
More! I found this to the point, easy to listen and easy to watch.
Thank you! Great to hear 😄 x
You're channel keeps growing and growing! We are so proud of you! We love you Matilda!
Thank you so much Kathrinne ☺️ x
Yes! Finnaly kbeauty!!! Love the video! 😘💕
Thank you Pauline! 😄 Ooh sounds lovely. I don't wear foundation but will keep an eye out for the Holika Holika balm! x
ooh a'pieu is my favourite too! this shade is the most popular out of all of them, though since my natural lip colour is a little bit paler, the colour doesn't show up as much. but i do like the formula - you don't need a mirror at all, and i like that it has a little bit of a glossy finish, especally when it's paired with lip balm, it's the best combination! makes your lips feel very soft
So glad you like it too! 👍 x
The product looks great and that texture is beautiful.😍
Lip tint is my favourite I am using this from last 2 years❤️
Sooo happy you finally delved in to Korean makeup!!! Knew you'd like it. Korean skincare is also a must try!
Thank you Alex, everyone was right! 😄 Hope to try some skincare in future x
I LOVE ETUDE HOUSE MAKEUP! ❤️ I basically have a full face of Etude house makeup
Ooh sounds good! 👍 x
Have you thought of doing a Korean Skincare video? Lovely video! Thanks Matilda!
Thank you Magali! 😄 I've heard great things about Korean skincare but unfortunately (or fortunately) I'm very happy with my routine this year, so I'm not looking to branch out and try too many new things x
How can I buy this products in India'?
I was going to suggest the 3CE cream pot blushes!!! SO happy u had a look at it as they've been on my radar for ages!
Thank you Alex! Not quite the texture I was personally hoping for, but I can see why so many people love them 👏 x
Thank you so much for your thorough review! I appreciate your honesty ♥️
I just got into korean beauty products and skincare and I gotta it’s way better than other products I’ve come across. My favorite brand is A’Pieu and favorite line collection of them is Water Light Tint because it doesn’t give me a bad allergic reaction, it smells nice, and keeps my lips well moisturized.
Thank you so much Yudi! And thanks for sharing your thoughts 👍 x
_wahhhh oh my god I'm into cream blush these day but I'm broke😭😭 plsss make a review of drugstore liquid/cream blush_
Thank you! Hope to try some Korean skincare in future 👍 x
I adore cushion foundations, blushers, bronzers and highlights! Undoubtedly the best concept I have ever come across. Laniege recently launched in my country, and I love the bubblegum lip sleeping mask!
Ooh sounds like you're a cushion expert! 👏 x
@@matildaonvideo Not more than you! But I have a questionable amount of cushion foundation lol
Ahhh the swatches are to die for! I find your videos to be really relaxing and i’ve always loved your style of video. I have that peri pera airy ink velvet in that shade too, it’s become one of my favorites.
Thank you so much Lei! Really appreciate that ☺️ x
I love the way you make your videos❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much! 😄 x
I was actually really surprised how many of these I’ve seen before, but never had a good idea of the consistency until I saw you swatching them close-up. I finally tried a 3CE multi-pot just this weekend too!
Glad the swatches were helpful Elizabeth! 👍 x
Klairs has wonderful makeup and skincare I think you would really like
Thank you! Hope to try some skincare in future 👍 x
Where did you buy them all?
Thank you for the tips! ☺️ x
This is exactly the kind of makeup/makeup product review channel I was looking for. It's so relaxing to watch your videos. Well researched and produced 💕💕💕
Thank you so much Aila! Glad you found me ☺️👋 x
I like Laniege blush cushion. Hope you try Missha eyebrow products.
Thanks for the tip! 👍 x
i’m so glad i found your channel!! i’ve been looking for a makeup channel like yours for years. I’m also really into minimal makeup and your reviews are so clean and to the point. ❤️
Thank you so much Chloe! Really appreciate that 😄 Glad you found me! x
You need the Elf aqua beauty lip tint. I wear the shade rouge radiance every day and no fragrance! I also wear the shades red orange wash and dewy nude but the one I mentioned first is very me and I have a feeling you'll love it too. It's a super sheer classic red
Ooh that sounds lovely! I'll have to check it out, thank you 😄 x
HOLY GOD YES
I didnt even dare to dream you would review this! so happy, thank you
i really wanted to get some k beauty especially the take a layers and i have a very similar taste to you
this is an ideal video ❤️
Thank you so much Duška! Lovely to hear that ☺️ x
I bought the airy INK lip tint and it was so beautiful. It's soft and creamy like and smells amazing 10/10 recommended
So glad you enjoy it! 👍 x
loved this so much!! i know you lean more towards makeup over skincare but would also love to see a korean skincare video if you have any favourites
Thank you Lulu! I haven't used any Korean skincare yet but picked up a couple of products on my travels. Hope to share some soon! 👍 x
Thank you so much Charlie! 😄 I think I follow Dear Dahlia on Instagram but don't know much about them haha, will definitely keep an eye out x
Thank you so much! And thanks for sharing ☺️👍 x
The 3CE take a layer in diotima and Holly hock r my absolute FAVORITE. It works really well with my skintone.
Ooh lovely! I know they have some nice nude and neutral shades so I'd love to try them next time 👌 x
Matilda, can u recommend me a shade from 3ce multi pot that suits a morena (medium to medium-tan) skin?
Unfortunately I'm not qualified to give any advice for other skin tones! I'm sadly not a makeup artist or an expert, just a regular person who loves beauty so I only know what works for me x
Matilda I understand
Xoxo
I have the powder version of the cheektone cream and I love it
Glad you enjoy it Chloe! ☺️ x
I definitely love the Water Drop Tinted Lip Balm and the Two Tone Tint Lip bar. They both have a special place in my heart haha. ❤️
Lovely to hear Cait! I've probably been reaching for them most too 👌 x
Soo excited that you’re testing out korean beauty! It really has so many gems for an affordable price tag ✨
Thank you, glad you're excited too! 👏 x
that 3CE I had one of that and all i can say is superrrrrr beautiful amazing and just superb!
Glad you enjoy it! 👍 x
Can you review bt21 makeup
I haven't come across that brand before unfortunately x
Peripera’s lip tinta are my daily products! I even use them kn the cheeks. Celeb deep rose is my favorite shade
So glad you love them! 👌 x
So good.
Thank you so much Carina! Ooh they sound great, adding those to my wishlist for next time 👍 x
You should try the peripera pure blushed velvet cheek! There are definitely one of my favourite cream formulas! Really recommend the shade #8 appealing dry coral ❤️
Ooh they sound lovely! Thanks for the tip Jessica 😄👍 x
Thank you for the suggestions! 👍 x
I like rosy pink type of makeup just the very very simple type 😊
Very simple suits me too! ☺️ x
The white board with red products remind me of lucious or rather delicious ice pops in Summer with watermelon, berries 🤤🤤🤤 Very cool editing.
Ohh thank you! What a nice image 🍉 x
I have the 3CE cushion blush too in the exact same shade! It looks really natural when blended out and gives such a nice flush to the cheeks. I can't wait to try the other colors :)
Glad you're a 3CE fan! They have so many lovely shades 👌 x
Your videos are absolutely amazing. I love the in depth yet concise reviews you give. To the point, but still love hearing you talk about the product. Ahh idk ! I just love it :D
Thank you so much, really appreciate that! 😄 x
I would like to buy but they don’t deliver where I live):
Sorry to hear that! Hope you'll find the products you're interested in on another website 👍 x
Matilda hopefully:) thanks for the review btw💘💘.
Hands down you're my favourite beauty guru. Love your videos.
Ohh thank you so much! I'm definitely not a guru, just a real person who loves beauty 😄 But really appreciate that! x
Have you ever used the Nars liquid blushes? I can't find a way to use them in a subtle way. Love your channel !!!
I haven't tried them unfortunately! I know they're very pigmented so youonly need a tiny tiny bit. Maybe try applying it to the back of your hand, then dab your finger or brush into it so you pick up less product 👍 x
