u can stand on the entire ring, not just the little circles on the first boss. also the reason those souls melee dps is because if u dont have agro on the channelers youre not interrupting, the souls will carry over that (lack of) agro
Good day Manather. Fantastic content as usual. Considering playstyle. Is Perpetual Winter ok over Snowstorm in M+, regularly? Understanding its not optimal damage. I find my lack of comfort in melee range I dont utilize Snowstorm to its full potential (wasted) or ill make a sketch play when at 30 stacks to get it off. Thnx
Assuming you mean wintertide since thats what in contention with snowstorm, but yep its fine generally, thats what I recommend as the standard build anyway you can see here pastebin.com/LD6Y5vYW in some keys mainly algethar it will hurt you a bit though

Hey love your videos so far I’m finding I love arcane just a bit more but it’s cool to see frost do insane damage too. Quick question where do you see fire at after the buffs? I see I few people saying it’s really good and might be better then the other two.
its still the worst
I think its in a really good position atm, its in a bit worse of a spot than frost, but there are multiple dungeons where I imagine myself playing it consistently once I have decent gear for it. Certainly a good option if you love the spec.
Fire isn't better than frost, but it is certainly a pretty good dps spec. Definitely in the realm of competitive so if you like it, play it. There are a few dungeons I think I'll end up playing it over frost, I just would like some better gear.

I see you are not using snowstorm there, could you tell me in what situation you would pick it and not? I’m trying to run it at all times since it can do so much dmg instantly but a lot it just feels like a waste of a talent point
Generally I chose based on the pull size/if I know the tank will be chaining. Some dungeons are just bad for it, like sbg and temple though.
In the first mob pack you killed, you didn't ice nova, is there a reason for that? I don't have snowstorm, but have still been ice nova'ing on CD. Is that a waste?
only 3t, lower priority filler than flurry, had it been slightly longer I wouldve ice nova'd

Hi Manather, loving your content at the mo - I just have a question regarding Frost in Temple of the Jade Serpent. I find that I can screw over the group on the second boss because of the amount of passive cleave the spec does, are there any tips to stop this from happening, or is it literally just a case of "play arcane or fire in that dungeon"?
Splitting ice is based on your field of view, just turn away from the 2nd guy and your ice lance wont cleave

u can also just stand in between them, u can use orb + blizzard without applying stacks. Just move out with shifting power.
How much crit are you running atm? I see mages using Haste mastery prior now
33% which is a coincidence, thats not a goal, but crit is pretty valuable in AOE

What do you think about running azureweave set instead of lariat+amice? The intellect scales with ilvl im at 410 and get about 65-70% proc uptime. LMK what u think, i mostly care about raid performance if that makes a difference

its pretty decent in AOE, quite rng in ST as well, not entirely sure its worth over amice + lariat but depending on your gear set it does sim better
do you need any certain stats to make frost 'decent', i sim a lot higher for fire than frost
hey what's the name of that weakaura that told you about the loyalist having the sinister focus buff to spellsteal?
I don't believe I have a WA to tell me to spellsteal that, my plater just displays it prominently

No, but if you can benefit from the 6% crit its quite strong in AOE esp if it lets you run hwoling rune
