being a rock drummer I love this version a bit of excitement is added, the other drummer who covers this track with the huge kick drum is equally as good, he plays more to the song, keeping it simple, which is what this song is, its a vocalist song not a rock band song, some purists will argue and say that is how should be played, but you gotta love the drummer who brings another element to it and does it so well as shown here. I recommend putting a mic on the top of the snare for a better mix of sound when i mic up drums in the studio i use both and mix them they sound good.
