I love Ubud so much! It has incredible natural beauty, history, culture and creativity, incredible food and the people are just very special. I can’t wait to visit again.❤️
Bali is so many things to so many different people. However, I believe the truly unique aspect of Bali is it's culture. Sure it has nice beaches, great nightclubs, resorts and restaurants, but the most unique and visit worthy aspect is Balinese culture. The dances, music, village traditions, wet agriculture, story-telling still thrive in an authentic setting. Unlike Cambodia's Angkor Wat, Peru's Macchu Picchu, Burma's Bagan and Java's Borobudur or Egypt's Pyramids, the Balinese culture that created the rich architecture is still alive. Whereas the Incas, Khmers, Burmese and Javanese are not 'living' in the culture that created all those architectural wonders, the Balinese are. From an anthropologist's point of view: if you wanted to see the peak of a prosperous ancient civilisation, like the Egyptians, the Maya or the Mesopotamians, it's not possible anymore. Bali is one of the last places in the world where it is possible.
This is Heaven on Earth so peaceful. I want to move there. My late father always told me how beautiful Bali is. He was born in Kraksaan Indonesia but that was Magalang side i guess, but he never teach me to talk bahasa. Keep posting of South East Asia ..I love it!!!!

Just came back from Ubud, a very special place with spirituality and amazing people! It was super hot and high humidity, but this made that you just have to slow down, stayed in hotel Tjampuhan. This is a very nice place to stay.. All and all amazing.. will be back soon!

Campuhan is pronounced Champuhan. The letter C in the Indonesian alphabet always makes a Ch sound. You would even sometimes find it spelled as Tjampuhan as a remnant of the Dutch spelling system.
God damn. The prices are cheap comparing to the restaurants I went to. Definitely staying at ubud next time I visit. Bali was a treat for me. I’m actually heading to Da Nang and Siem Reap in September. Keep up with the awesome posts!
@@luisorozco4370 Off season, but seriously Check out Lombok and the Gilli Islands. Bali unfortunately has been affected by over tourism. But you can find freedom with a motorbike if you don't mind driving against that traffick
