    There was a heavyweight olympic wrestler back in the day who only did this for 10 reps. He (287 lbs BW) would be able to pick up and throw someone his own size and bigger, and accurately land them on their head while they were flailing around trying to escape.

    Ahh yes the zwercher deadlift. My currently only method to deadlifting as i broke my left wrist. It was a horrific bicycle Crash where i flew above my bicycle at 30km/h.

    The thing about this is that its how you would pick someone up who has passed out. Think of carrying anyone out of a forest or anything that has passed out and its like that. If they are heavier set you cant carry them on your shoulders.

    Hey, man. I am 15 and I have been going to the gym for a year now. I have been able to gain quite a bit of mass (170 pounds,5’10). However, I am not lean enough to have a six pack (although I am pretty close). Do you think I should go on a deficit or do keto? Should I cut at all?

      yo bro i'm 16 and imo do not deficit, we're still in the puberty range and all those nutrients we needed in our daily food helps growth and sustain health and if we deficit our growth will get stunted, so do not cut off anything significant and just eat a healthy balanced diet 2-3 meals a day with a bit more protein and carbs there for muscle recovery. just wait until maybe 18-20+ then now you can deficit. idk about keto tho. honestly idc all about those kind of diets i just eat what my mom cooks.

      When I was your age I made the mistake of going in a deficit just to see the six pack. The truth is six pack is also a muscle, so if you train it and eat well it's going to grow and you will have to cut less in later years to actually see it. Just like the other guy said, eat well balanced meals, train hard and most importantly eat enough. You are going to thank yourself in a few years. Use these golden years to put muscle on your frame and later on cut if you need to.
      I wish someone said this to me back then, I believed the bs of abs are made in the kitchen and there's no point of training etc. and I went on so many diets just to see them which resulted in me being small for years. Trust the process and keep being consistent. Good luck bro

      Bro do NOT bulk, you’re still growing and could def hurt your growth by cutting. Also after only a year of training, I hate to break it to you but you will probably just look skinny after cutting, especially in clothes

      Focus on building a solid foundation of strength and muscle while eating Whole Foods such as meat, fruit and vegetables.

      Keto worked for me really well. Would recommend to do it for a few weeks to get lean

      The second half of the movement is just a zercher jcurl. the first half is not even needed since the legs just extend without lifting the bar.

    Is there any risk of injuries for the biceps?

      Good question. It seems like it engages the bicep, I'd have to try first to see how much tension is placed on them. My guess the biggest risk would when picking up the weight. The amount of weight you should start this at should probably not be enough to have a huge injury concern.

      There’s not a large risk of injury if you start light and build slowly.

      They’re good too, but I prefer this variation for the greater range of motion.

      That’s a good question and the honest answer would be, it depends. I would say back today would be best. The exercise does use a lot of legs, but it will primarily train the back.

      If u start light and gradually over months up the weight all will be well ,unless someone has a preexisting back condition that is life threatening
