When my aunt passed away and we were having the wake before the funeral i went next door to the house where she had grown up in and in her bedroom i found a Robin. So i opened up the window and freed it and told everybody back at the wake about it. It was so strange and nobody had a clue how it even got in there in the first place.
My mother loved robin's and My father went to be with her last summer and on at Stephen's day the day they got married I seen a pair in the garden it was nice to see and think of them together
It's true. I don't believe in superstitions but a bird flew into my house and my Grandfather passed away. My picture falls off the wall for no reason & my mother passed away 2 days later. It's a fact & I believe in this things after it happens to me. A picture also fell from the wall when My Grandmother passed away
I had my windows open during last summer with seeds on the windowsills... so i had some birds come in accidently ..a chickadee bonked his head and sat on my pillow until he woke up. But the one that did freak me out was when a little black junko was literally tapping at my window, after dark, no interest in the seeds- just demanding to be let in. I said the Our Father and watched him in horror. haha .
The only superstition that is true...the bird in the house is death it has happened 3 times to me and 3 deaths occurred,..I put a damn screen door to keep them out
But I tell you, we soaked it in holy water the 2nd try and sure enough it burned. However it went up like a volcano and we thought for sure we'd gone n set the house ablaze. Creepiest thing ever. We were well shook.
memories of my grandmother and her stories of the sign of the bird coming thru the window and the banshee
Just found your channel. I’m fascinated by the stories.
