Thanks for the video. I really like the famous places series and bought the M20 Grand Placa myself. I like it the most from this series.

Good video! I love my M620 Grand Place, still a stunning pen after all those years!

That is a very cool pen. I believe Pelikan did a M800 size Grand Place as well.

I like the City of Berlin and Piazza Navona (I love the Piazza Navona between the Pantheon and Castel Sant' Angelo in Rome), right now both pens cost over 900,00 €.

Peyton Street Pens had the Berlin for $450 recently. I have not seen the Piazza Navona that cheap though, even in bad condition.

Never heard of nor seen this series of pens before. I have the M200 (Marbled Brown) and the M600 Glauco Cambon. Not a big fan of Pelikan. Not the aesthetic nor the nibs. Never quite liked the color/striped models of the 600,800 and 1000 pens.
The City series of pens look much more attractive and desirable to me. They are just much cooler than the standard line of Pelikan Mxxx pens.
The City line now intrigues me. Thanks to this illuminating review. I want one of these pens now.

Hi Sajjad, The City Line are some of the best looking Pelikans. What do you not like about Pelikan nibs? The ones on the City series are quite firm which is a negative for me as my favorite Pelikan nibs are very soft.

@ Pelikan’s nibs invariably feel oddly too soft, almost ‘squishy’ to me. I don’t like that at all. While I like both soft and stiff (gold) nibs, Pelikan’s nibs are just weird. Also, the flow seems untamed and a bit much for my tastes. The designated size points and the corresponding line widths of the nibs seem particularly out of whack. I prefer Aurora’s stiffer, far more consistent, nicer nibs. And the differently soft, slightly flex-y nibs of say, Stipula or Scibo, to anything Pelikan has to offer.
The only thing that the Souverain line of pens has going for them are the smoothest pistons (along with Aurora’s) I’ve ever used.
However, I’ll look to get a Pelikan from the City line - if only for the looks, and different feel of the nibs.
